We had a wonderful and dependable experience. We booked a cab in advance from Sheffield to Manchester airport. The driver (#59) came even slightly earlier than expected which was a wonderful surprise. He was courteous and got us to the airport smoothly. Would highly recommend and book again for future trips!!

We pre-booked a car for 6 passengers from Sheffield city centre through to Dronfield. We were informed via text & then phone call when the taxi was on its way & given a link to track it online. This was really useful as we could see exactly where & when it was due to arrive.
Our driver was well presented & courteous & the fare was very reasonable. All 6 of us agreed that this was an excellent service & we would definitely use them again.

A1 Sheffield sorted my transport to and from Manchester Airport. The driver was friendly and helpful and the service was on time. Overall fantastic stress free experience. Will be using them again.

We had a fantastic taxi driver today, called Riswan. My mum is very elderly and has to use a wheelchair; Riswan was brilliant with her, got us to our appointment on time and waited for us. Highly recommend A1 taxis.

A1 taxi provided a wheelchair accessible vehicle for my mum to attend an appointment. Taj the driver was brilliant - on time, kind and caring, very efficient and put Mum at ease including reassuring her about safety. He was able to return earlier than booked to take my parents home. This is the first time they have used a WAV so I am so grateful for Taj’s expertise and kindness-thank you.

Booked an A1 taxi for a pick up tonight from Bradfield Village hall for 3 passengers, 1 of whom is disabled & unable to walk unaided. All of which was made very clear indeed to the guy who took & guaranteed the booking. No phone signal in village & only one car park & entrance to village hall. Ended up stranded with no way home because no taxi appeared in the car park!! Once able to receive a phone signal I received several messages from A1 taxis saying they were outside!!! I’d love to know outside where cos they sure as hell weren’t where they were supposed to be!!! Thank goodness for the kindness of others or we would have spent the night in the car park. A1 taxis your service is appalling.

Con merchants, beware.
Used the A1 app to book a taxi from Sheffield to high green (normally around £20). At the destination the driver charged £28.50, when questioned he stated it was fare and a half past midnight. Paid the driver and went inside only to be presented with the invoice on the app for......£20. Clearly the driver is pocketing the additional fictional charge.
Phoned the company later in the day they said they would sort it out and refund, two weeks 2 phone calls and 2 emails later nothing.
My advice don't use unless your happy with being ripped off.
