An epic carvery with lots of choice.

It's very rare you see self serve carveries these days, especially ones with so much choice. It was all very good quality, and very tasty.

The meat was delicious and generously served.

The restaurant itself is a little dated, but the service is good.

We've driven past this pub on our way too and from the beach and its a lovely setting and big pub. Often its very busy for good reason as we found out when we managed to pop in for an evening meal.

Atmosphere was relaxed and the staff were great and very friendly and nothing was too much trouble, even when busy!

Dogs are allowed in the bar section, which was great and staff were very chilled about the dogs in the room.

The food was great and I do mean great, a good portion and not too expensive. Gluten free and Vegetarian options clearly shown which is good and toilets are clean and well presented.

Stopping off for a drink in the garden or lunch/evening meal is definitely a must.

Great pub, but I'll probably not be able to get in there as its so busy.

Enjoy the thatched roof too!

Well what can I say one of the best meals I have ever had and I've had a few ..ordered steak and ale pie and had potato's and veg selection. From the carvery instead of chips ..it was amazing will be back soon ..

We phoned up last minute and though the restaurant was full, they fitted us in at the bar (which felt like a restaurant). Great food, great service. Proper pub grub, large portions, great value for money. Whole family was happy - highly recommend it. Lovely building as well!

We have just had a great meal at this pub , fantastic Stilton salad at very good price ! Food is very fresh , well presented & substantial , will be returning! Seating arrangements in & out is excellent ! All the staff we encountered where engaging & friendly.

Excellent food. Generous portions and great value. The carvery is amazing. Highly recommended. Need to book for restaurant as is always busy which says everything. Exmoor Gold is always spot on ????

Great food Great atmosphere. A regular visit for the us when back in UK. Parents live the carvery and we have something from the Great menu. Prawn salad was brilliant last time

Have visited several times during a fortnight holiday. The quality of the food is excellent, providing good value for money. The staff are helpful, friendly and polite. Well worth a visit. Thanks to all staff. Dogs also welcome.
