A small cafeteria with good options . He makes good beef porata sandwich . And milkshakes are also good.

No point for booking and you can't recycle without it!
No option to book for today and the centre was basically empty at the moment when I went through. I don't get it Edinburgh council?!
Best way to encourage people to recycle, very smooth and smart...!?

Was in and out within 5 minutes. Staff member was really friendly and very helpful, advised the best area for me to park for unloading a mattress. It was very quiet. Booking a slot is so much better, i dont dread going there and be8ng caught up in traffic and queues.

They close 5 but not a possible make appointment at 4pm!!!
Also I did check out if they are busy and find no car inside.
Looks like the lazy staff working in!!!

Love getting things done with ease, well get along to this center. You can always find someone to help you, and it's easier than getting it by local pickup.

A trip to the dump is never particularly noteworthy, but the guys who work there were on good form, which brightened the whole experience.

Love this recycling center, it's great fun for the whole family. I've been going every other weekend with my daughters and they are always so excited to see what's new . Last time we even saw a rat. Would have paid a lot more for Edinburgh Zoo. Do make sure you book early though as slots are taken up quickly .

Edinburgh council want to know your name, number, car reg, passport or photo id, address, keep all of your data on their system for 12 months for "safety purposes", what a joke! Meanwhile they rent out space to private "recyclers".
Hmmm, something smells fishy and it's not the rubbish.

There is absolutely no reason for booking in at the recycling centres,I personally asked a member of staff who told me at the Craigmillar dump, it helped them,and the staff wanted to keep it as it made it easier for them for it to be booked,absolutely nothing to do with helping the public.
