Fantastic surgery. From the reception staff through to the nurses and doctors everyone cares and has made a huge effort to ensure we are always attended to and supported since being patients here. We are very grateful, particularly given how hard we know it is for GP practices at the moment. Thank you.

Fantastic surgery. Dr Wight and his colleagues are so incredibly quick to get back to us whenever they are able, and always provide clear guidance as to when they will be able to help us - and the medical support has been very useful. They truly care, we have received out of hours support on a few occasions without even asking.

I thought I would take the time to write an honest review of my 20 years experience of the practice because some of the comments I have read on here dont reflect mine in any way.
I have nothing but praise for the team that have helped our family with our various medical issues, worries and concerns over the years. They have always done their best to help us, Dr Wight is my GP and he is excellent. What is clear is that they are all under immense pressure and doing the very best that they can under extremely difficult circumstances.

It's unsympathetic. It took me 4 weeks to get a phone appointment then I want to discuss bloods and it's another 4 weeks. If this carries on things will get missed and it could have serious consequence on people's health

I called to ask from pain relief. I got a call back and medication sent through straight away. I finally had a good night's sleep after struggling for weeks and thinking I couldn't get anything for the pain. Receptionist was very helpful and Dr was understanding. I am very grateful

Absolutely brilliant service as always! I went to the surgery today and the wonderful receptionist was VERY astute and knew I should be seen today. She organised it so I was seen within an hour. The GPs are all excellent and caring and the nurses are brilliant. It’s been a horrid year for GP’s on the front line and they have handled it excellently throughout. I really am lucky to be at the best GP surgery in Sheffield.

I'd been feeling quite unwell since Wednesday (today being Saturday) and so yesterday I thought I'd call 111. After going through their questions they explained that a telephone appointment with a doctor was required and so booked one with Rustlings Road Surgery for 16:30 (but noting that there could be a deviation from this time depending on how busy they were). The phone call never came. What I did receive was a message from a doctor saying that the pharmacy is the first port of call for a chesty cough; if I wanted to see a doctor then here are the details of the walk-in centre and, if things are really bad (chest pains etc.), then call 999. So basically "leave us alone". I went to the walk-in centre this morning and was told that I have an obvious chest infection that requires antibiotics and so they gave me a prescription. I've had a few chest infections in the past but either they didn't bother to look at my notes or just don't care - the outcome is the same either way. Wholly disappointing and unfortunately it's no less than I've come expect from this practice.
