My daughters joined Dance Discovery four years ago and it's become a huge part of their lives. Right from the start Miss Clare and Miss Holly and then Miss Delphi have been encouraging, caring and inspiring with all the lessons. Dance Discovery has a wonderful ethos of nurturing the individual child and I can see this right through the ages as my youngest has now started the exciting ‘Mini & Me’ class. The teachers focus and kindness really showed in lockdown, my daughters didn’t have to miss one class as online lessons were set up immediately. The contact with the class was amazing and became the focus of their week.

Performing around Dunbar and at the Brunton Theatre provides great opportunities and the teachers are so kind and friendly that it feels fun and not daunting. The big dance studio has a sprung floor and separate changing area, Miss Clare encourages the students to feel like it’s ‘their’ space and my teenager has opportunities to help out with the younger classes and enjoys it as a place to spend time. My daughters choose to take on more classes and challenge themselves further. The focus is on skill building, creativity and encouraging not pushing the students which gives them confidence and enthusiasm. I recommend Dance Discovery and my daughter says 'It's the best! 10 out of 10!'

My daughter has been taking part in dance discovery classes for the past 6 years and she absolutely loves it! Clare and her team make classes fun and enjoyable and at the same time highly professional. The new studio is the perfect place for learning to dance with the springy flooring and walled mirrors so they can see themselves. It's also a great venue for the other events Clare puts on such as movie nights and dance parties. My daughter especially loves the annual show at the Brunton Theatre, it is fantastic seeing how the kids progress with their dancing and how much they enjoy being on stage. Highly recommend.

My girls have dance with you for years and they love all the classes. They love doing the shows and getting opportunity to do many different performance thought the year. Clare you are an amazing teacher and have amazing teacher. And you have help my girls love of dancing grow. I would recommend you to anyone who is looking for a class for there daughter or son to do.

Clare and the team place nurture at the heart of their ethos and approaches.
As well as teaching all the technical skills and preparing well for exams or events; a passion and love for dance is fostered and the confidence to express who you are!

Our daughter is just 4 and has been attending dance discovery in Dunbar for a year now. She absolutely loves it and has come on massively not just in dancing but in confidence! She has made great friends with both children and staff and absolutely loves a boogie! We regularly get dance shows at home showing us the moves she’s been learning :)

My daughter has attended Dance Discovery for the 7 years. She thoroughly enjoys all her classes and her teachers are wonderful and so patient. Moving to their new hall has been fantastic. My daughter loves the annual dance show. I would highly recommend Dance Discovery.

My little girl had danced with Clare and her team at Dance Discovery for a year. Watching her grow in confidence when performing has been amazing. Clare and her team are more than just dance teachers, they nurture, encourage and support each and every student to reach their full potential. My daughter loves attending tap and ballet class. The teachers are really encouraging and her confidence has really come on since starting, she has even built up to performing in one of the shows. Thank you Dance Discovery for the great class.
