Myself and my partner stayed in Alder lodge for my birthday (14th feb) all I can say is I can’t wait to return. Such a perfect place and I Highly recommend. So clean and So peaceful and I didn’t want to leave. I would want to stay at Alder again as it’s tucked away by the river. The views are perfect and the local pub is fantastic. Thank you x

Beautiful place, so peaceful and well looked after. It is even beautiful in the rain, (it rained a lot when we were there, the river burst its banks) but it hasn't put me off, would definitely go back. X

Great lodge with a hot tub and log burner right next to the river Clun. The lodge is very spacious and well equipped. Basket full of logs on arrival,so no need to go out and purchase any straight away. There is no shop or bar on site. There is a pub (The Crown) close by and shops are in Craven Arms which is about 3 or 4 Miles away.
Excellent scenery and lovely walks too.
Only slight down point is no dishwasher,the light in the hot tub does not work and need a slight more privacy when in the hot tub.
As I said those are only slight down sides and nothing too bad. Everything else was spot on. We would definitely recommend this place for a relaxing get away.

Beautiful, calming, inside and out. Our lodge overlooked a small stream and it was beautiful to be close to nature. My daughter and I sat on the balcony in the mornings for breakfast and evenings before bed to watch the water flow down the stream. Of all the holidays I've taken my daughter on this is the one she recalls time and time again. Must do it again.

Very nice lodge in a quiet well kept park. Had a lovely stay with partner mum and the dogs. The lodge was very clean and cosy, we stayed in winter and it was nice and warm. We stayed in the lodge at the end of the park where the river bends around the lodge, this was the best position on the park, we saw song thrushes and dippers as well as the usual birds.
There is a pub just a few minutes walk but they only do snacks, but plenty of options for eating out just a short drive.
The only downside were the footpaths for walking dogs aren’t that good from the lodge but again a short drive away there are lots to choose from.

Booked through Air B & B staying at Hazel lodge. The place is lovely with lots of amenities available like cookware, dishwasher, fiber broadband. Sky+, Netflix and, of course, the hot tub.

Everything is clean, modern and set up for an easy and comfortable stay. Absolutely fantastic!

Even on a December's blustery and wintry day, the place has what we wanted. Quiet, seclusion, a good view and the opportunity to just chill out and avoid the artificial frenetic commercialism of Christmas.

Yes, we were 'humbuggers' this year and not having relatives nor family to consider for the first time in our lives, ticked off a Bucket List item. We were having the Festive Season, festive to our own liking. Our own liking was booze, books, our own music and our own company.

Remotely located in an AONB in the hills in Shropshire, the chalets (cabins) detached, wood paneled, clustered around a wriggling little river (the Clun) are indeed get-away-from-it-all pearls of peace and tranquility.

And the fact that we arrived just as Storm Barbara hit at its most spectacular, detracted us not one whit.

Lovely small park of lodges in a remote area, 5 mins walk to a pub and surrounded by countryside and farms. In easy reach of local towns but nowhere nearby to walk to
