FANTASTIC, especially for those with kids! So interesting, so well 'stocked', fascinating. Toys provided at clever places for little ones to play whilst you peruse Victorian Devon at your leisure. Stumbled upon this gem, seriously delighted. Staff were extremely warm, friendly, and helpful, too!

We spent a couple of hours looking around this very interesting museum, it looks small from outside, but it is a lot bigger than you think and there is a lot to see. Well worth a visit.

Great local museum covering many different parts of Mid Devon life in very informative displays.

Very interesting for children and adults. Had a lovely morning. Really worth a visit. Easy parking.

Great little museum. We stopped to break up a long drive. Took 1 hour to walk around and a little gift shop at the end. Lots of kid friendly activities and games to play. Bingo was a big hit! Dog friendly too. The train was a highlight.

Very nice morning, lots to see and excellent variety of things for little ones to get involved with. The Tivvy Bumper is definitely a highlight.
Reasonably priced. Nice little gift shop.
Only thing missing is a little cafe for a drink/snack ????

It's a great museum, it has more than I expected from the outside and they've put a lot of effort to had child friendly activities

Tivertons museum gives a fascinating glimpse of Devon life through the years. Agriculture, local industries and social history are all covered. From amazing photographs to industrial machinery and even a steam locomotive there is something of interest for young and old. Well worth a visit
