Two level car park primarily serving the Bay View Shopping Centre, but also handy to use if visiting Colwyn Bay town centre. The car park operates an easy to use barrier and ticket system, when leaving verify your ticket in the shopping centre payment machine. Parking is free for the first 2 hours, then reasonable charges apply, access to the lower level is via a lift. Good layout and always find spaces easily enough.

Was unsure if a car park or loading bay. Not clearly signposted! Entry/exit way is quite tight. Need to get a ticket is quite annoying, but it is free for half an hour. It's not great, but it isn't terrible. NB: this is just about the car park not the centre itself.

The car park at the BayView Centre is on two levels and offers free parking for two hours on the upper deck and three hours downstairs. Once you get past those times charges kick in and get expensive quite quickly but three hours should be more than enough time to see everything there is to see in Colwyn Bay....several times over.

The carpark has a barrier controlled entry system where you collect a ticket on the way in and then to get out you have to validate your ticket in one of the machines in the centre, and depending on how longer you've been there pay the appropriate fee. This system sometimes slows down the flow of traffic but that's more than offset by the fact that it means there's no need to employ a bunch of cowboys to "manage" the carpark as it's impossible to avoid paying up on the day if required.

The only supermarket in the centre of Colwyn Bay is the branch of Morrisons in the BayView Centre and as a result it's just about the only supermarket left in Conwy County where you can shop and not have to worry about receiving a "parking charge notice" through the post a few days later as a reward for your custom. That's why this is the only supermarket I'm now prepared to shop at as I'm no longer prepared to take the risk of parking at Asda in Llandudno or Tesco in Llandudno Junction. Not that Morrisons will be complaining I'm sure.

This car park is at Bay view shopping centre, and has ground floor space and lower parking area under the shopping centre.
