You can have a nice boat ride to Festival City and you can use you Nol Card on the boat, so no need to queue for the ticket both

One of the (literally) coolest way to get to Dubai Festival City! Take the Green Line metro towards Creek and get off at the last stop. The marine station is less than 5 minutes walk away and if you're lucky, a ferry will be waiting for passengers when you reach there. If you're not, it will be a 20 minute wait in the quiet station, complete with a shelf of donated or abandoned reading materials.
The fare is just US$0.55 - paid in cash at the counter near the entrance. It would be ideal if it can be paid through the Nol card - an additional star to my rating.
Still, it's great value for money, considering there's no traffic, the fresh (with just a tad of salt) air, refreshing water sprays from the Dubai Creek, and views of dhows (traditional cargo boats) and yachts.

1hr+ waiting time in standing queue and then 30 mins waiting in the sitting queue. ???? I visited on Sunday. Don't know about weekdays. ????u200d♂️

Very very disappointed.. waiting more then 1 hr. And totally time waste... not quick service.. same like burdubai area... RTA should be need more boats here.. time is very important.

Friendly staff. And by staff, I meant that one lady behind the counter. Never have I ever met someone so keen on getting customers into their business when there's zero competition. Also good way to get to festival city mall if you don't have much on your shopping list and also don't care about parking spaces or just don't feel like driving.
