Beautiful walk along the canal with lots to see.
When you get to the dam you can see the Beautiful lily pads and if you're lucky you can find dragonflies.
As you walk a little further you come to a notice board and on the hill infront of it you can see an roman Fort with Lympne Castle behind it.
Walk a little further along and you come across the bottom of port Lympne zoo and if you're lucky you can see some of the animals. In the distance on this particular day we could see zebra and giraffe.

An amazing walk for the family. Very small car park but on the walk you can see into port lympe and see the animals.

Nice spot to access canal side cycle/footpaths. Also unit 1 bar/restaurant close by for refreshments

Lovely walks, unfortunately parking is no longer free.hope the £25 it cost me goes towards putting up some signs.

A handy car park for walking along the canal, or (as in my case) for one of various longer walks in the area. There is normally plenty of space, although it was fuller than usual on my last visit. There is a small overflow area available across the road.

Beautiful day out for the family if you love a walk, we made the most of a couple of hours walking along with adventures in the wood areas and the kids were amazed when we saw the giraffes and zoo animals along the way .
