We went here for our anniversary dinner, and I must say the service was top notch! We initially found this place on the Michelin guide app, which suggested that it must be excellent and sure enough trying it in person it was! Sapun was our waiter, and he made our evening absolutely perfect. Ask for him by name if you can he was great! The mint lemonade was unreal - we ordered two glasses each! We started our meal with hummus, which was excellent. And for a main we enjoyed the mix grilled platter for two which was more than enough food, and truly excellent. The indoor outdoor feel of this place was really cool, and we really appreciated the air conditioning.

The best place to experience the UAE's climate and enjoy traditional local cuisine. Live music with a cool local musician and singer and great staff. Hassan is one of the best staff there and he invited us to tea and dessert. 100% recommended
Just know that the amount of food is too much

Was recommended by our driver Hamid, came in and was greeted warmly. Great food and service. We really liked the lentil soup, chicken machboos, and camel milk ice cream (chocolate).

A bit pricey but worth for the service and atmosphere. There’s live music and yet its very quiet and calming.

My first meal at Dubai and it was so good! Like this restaurant! The food was delicious but too much for 1 person???? Hasan and Dianne was nice and helpful. &The restaurant has good decorations & can have good photos. Also there are Henna paintings. So pretty!!!!

Had a very pleasant experience. Ambience is great with proper Arabic hospitality. Food is very tasty and drool worthy. Staff there takes good care of you and explain about every food that’s being served. Mr.Roni was patient and friendly and showed us around the restaurants and explained about the heritage of UAE…. This restaurant stands for its namefor sure. A very good place to visit for special occasions. It was my first time visiting the restaurant and I loved being there ????????

Once I decided to come to Dubai for traveling, I planed to come visit this beautiful and traditional restaurant, I've searched many blogger's posting and have been seen this place on the TV show. Indeed, it didn't disappointed me at all????

First of all, the traditional building plus the cozy decoration relived our fatigue. The server treat everyone well, they are really thoughtful, especially Sapun and Fredy are so lovely ????

The food is enough-quality and real benefit. They're also the traditional performance and traditional tattoos that you can enjoy while eating the meal????

Highly recommended!

One of the most underrated restaurants for traditional Emirati cuisine. The food is authentic and absolutely delicious with generous portion sizes. The drinks are pretty refreshing and quite filling as well. Particularly loved their complimentary chickpea soup with the condiments!

The best part about the dining experience is the entertainment happening alongside. There is a free Henna counter for the ladies, there is a random jig with traditional music and instruments and there are live counters to watch Regag and Luqaimat in-the-making. The service is top notch with personal attention from everyone serving or even passing by the table.

Definitely re-visiting with friends and family when I get a chance again!
