Dr Fern and her whole surgery team are absolutely fantastic. Everyone is always friendly and polite. So grateful to be at a GP practice where you can actually get an appointment. She always listens to your concerns and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you so much.

Was in this evening with my son who needed a blood test. Karen, the nurse was absolutely great. Karen made my son feel at ease from the moment she called him into the room. A lovely lady, doing a fantastic job. Thank you.

I have put 1 star as the narrowcliff surgery is in a good position BUT due to your very unhelpful receptionist, s attitude to my husband last Wednesday when he asked for help or advice regarding my situation at the time it doesn't deserve anymore !!!!!! Is this the way your staff treat 80 Yr old, he was told in no definite way that your surgery couldn't help because our health records were with our own dr and to phone them !!!??? Unbelievable!!!!!!In this age of technology and computers that can access such records it was a very poor excuse !!!!! Her attitude was likened to a rottweiler actually !!!! He was sent away feeling very worried and anxious and for a man of his age with heart problem this was unacceptable!!!!!! We were staying in the hotel Barrowfield next to your surgery at the time and they have been informed of your attitude in case any other guest come across such an appalling reception from your staff !!!!!!! We had to phone 111 and answer the question s and told some one would ring later which they did at 9pm (9 hours after original call !!!?) The young lady dr questioned me meticulously and came to conclusion that it was food poisoning and was appalled when told of my husbands treatment at your surgery and asked for its name which my husband told her . All this has been sent to the NHS also !!!!!!!

The staff are friendly, professional, and kind. Working under the pressure of an underfunded NHS, they do an amazing job. I have had nothing but brilliant help and treatment when i've needed it. Thank you.

I understand that things progress, but with the changes occurring in the repeat prescription service, progress has gone a step too far.
I have an elderly family member who is severely visually impaired and is, somehow, expected to order her prescriptions by either writing a letter, travelling to the surgery, or using the app.
Luckily, I can order the prescription online, but what about others?
What provisions are you going to make for your elderly or disabled clients?

Outstanding care, especially given the limited resources available to them and having to deal with the influx of holiday makers each year that forget there prescriptions!

Did my wifes blood test, the doctor taking her bloods was amazing and managed to put her at ease when she is a very, very nervous patient, great service all round.

Useless doctors. I having really bad cough over 6 weeks (im not a smoker) and she sent me home that im absolutely alright, and she didnt even bothered to smear my throat to check if i have any infection (which i probably spreading over all town since i am a housekeeper). well done.

Edit: for last 5 years all doctors urging me to solve my high blood pressure that its too dangerous (regularly in a calm over 140/100) so when i started solving it, they dont care, they said me change a lifestyle- uh how? Im not a smoker, im physically active person (housekeeper), not an alcohol drinker, and we have this disease in a family for generations when both nan and her mum died on a stroke. Doctors refusing to give me any medication , saying im too young (32) even when i said my family been using them since their 20s. They ignoring it and probably waiting for me to get a stroke too. Absolutely shocked by their attitude. the most useless doctors i ever seen.

EDIT: ANOTHER 2 YEARS LATER , MY BP IS DAILY 140/110 AND THEY KEEP SAYING IT IS NORMAL!!!!!!!! all other doctors are shocked always when I say that my GP is fine with my results and i should apparently report him for negligence and that he should get his licence revoked, cause he is gambling with people's health
