It's a decent and really big park, there's an entrance for cars and through Rta users separately on two starts of the park. There is also a place for having a barbecue which is pretty close to the car entrance. The price for one car is 30 Dhs and the rta card entrance is 5 Dhs. There're slides and swings for children to play too.

Excellent car park close to cafe and beach, all for £1 for the day, you can't go wrong

Only £1 to park all day. Excellent sandy beach after the tide has gone out.
Bit disappointed about the lack of any sort of life in the rock pools only spotted 1 small shrimp & half a dozen anemones although a fair amount of limpets but they are hardly exciting!

Big car park, it has a bar and eatery, wet suits for hire plus surf boards etc. Toilets available, Coffee etc available, great place to chill. Highly recommend it

Very big surfing community here, it doesn't dominate though and all visitors are welcome from families to dogs.

We were walking back at 6pm from visiting Pink Bay which leads off of Rest Bay and there was still a fierce amount of bodies in the water and a group having a massive BBQ.
Also a surf equipment hire shop right next to the beach, a lot of very friendly people so I imagine if you're starting to surf or even a dab hand already, you'd find this the place to go.

Very good car park lots of space even at busy times - not too expensive like other public beaches (such as Ogmore, which is ridiculously expensive, a real money grab). Rest Bay has fantastic views over the beach, a really good activity centre next to it for hiring surf boards and paddle boards, as well as some beachy/surfy shops. And up above a lovely 1st floor licensed cafe/restaurant with spectacular views over the bay from inside and from the sheltered outside veranda. Rest Bay has full Lifeguard support in summer and acres of sand (when the tides on it's way out - at full tide the sea cone right up to the rocky shoreline so always best to check tide timetables if coming from away away. It can be windy and sea can be choppy with some very big waves - it's a very popular surfing beach in the right conditions. There a miles of very good (wheelchair accessible) footpaths going both ways either back to Porthcawl centre or out into the wilds of Sker. Overall - excellent!

Car park is big, lots of space. Great facilities near by with Cafe, surf shop and toilets. Surf hire guy a little grumpy when I visited so didn't hire equipment from him.
Surf is nice, avoid at high tide.

I didn't stop , i don't believe in paying to park to enjoy what is mine and everyone else's. The spot is beautiful and pay if you want but a short walk from the top will let you enjoy the view and it's free .
