I really enjoyed coming out here. Feels a bit like being in the Kgalagadi. The only thing I didn't enjoy is the people picnicking by the expo 2020 lake blasting their music. When you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city the last thing you want is blasting music. It will also scare the animals, which is part of the reason to come visit in the first place.

Best hotspot location for birding, barbecue and Picnic.

Great place to visit during the winter. Preferably late winter. You'll see all sorts of birds at all times. We camped near here overnight.
Remember to take a lot of firewood and clean up after yourself!

Al Marmoom Nature Reserve in Dubai is a wonderful example of how artificial irrigation can wrest

Well set and maintained place. Beautifully set, a must for those who enjoy nature and pleasant water front ambience. Good for camping too.
Not sure of pets being allowed in. 4x4 is not required to reach this place, the approach road is good. Can get crowded during holidays or weekends. Parking is not an issue.
