Best pub in the area with excellent food. Had a really great time. Personnel is really nice and helpful. U have all sorts of food options, from veggie/normal lasagna, mac&cheese, burgers (really wonderful) and the best nachos i had in the UK. Would totally recommend and visit again.

We had dinner here while on holiday, alot of searing outside and play area for the children. Only downside was the cola was very watered down. Apart from that all was well.

he staff, food and value for money is FANTASTIC!!
We had my Dad's surprise meal here on the 1st and from the start to finish it was great and the food was delicious the size of the meals are massive which is fantastic for a foodie family! Being a table of many allergies including Gluten free, Dairy free, Soya free and vegan the staff here went above and beyond to cater to everyone nothing was ever to much trouble! The lovely manager even order in Sausages rolls which wasn't on the menu which my little girl could eat I don't honestly know many places that would do this! Definitely a place to visit and will be back again soon for sure!
Just want to say a massive thank you again to all the staff at The Sun Inn for making my Dad's Birthday meal perfect.

Nice pub for a drink as the decor is nice and staff seem pleasant however it's totally let down by the food. We had a family meal recently and nobody really enjoyed it. Smash mash with frozen vegetables. Unpleasant fatty chips. Lasagne with a severe lack of pasta. We could have made better on an average night at home. Shame

Disgusting management, withholding wages because I quit due to the awful way staff were treated and have now not been paid the time I worked. This isn’t the first time this has happened and it won’t be the last.

Firstly the staff were really friendly and made it a good experience.
We the function room for an event and on first appearance its very very bare and looks uninviting i would at least fill the shelves with empty bottles to make it look used rather than an empty unused bar. A function room shouldn't feel so cold and empty with bare minimum.
There was a buffet of food provided and i was rather disappointed, 2 platters of mixed sandwiches both platters had meat on so contaminated for those who were vegetarian / vegan. Some chicken strips, mini sausages, a big tray of chips and 3 plates of mainly burnt sausage rolls that werent nice and were left by all. In my opinion very unimaginative and not of a standard i would expect really.
I would have given 2* but the staff made it worthy of an extra star.
Overall I wouldn't recommend using here for a function and would look elsewhere. As for the pub its seems nice and warm with a large beer garden.
