First time for a night out in Wrexham and I went to the Parish to watch The Sherlocks. It was a good fairly small venue. The sound was excellent and the staff were friendly. As expected the band did a great set. Beer prices seemed reasonable too.

Great little venue for live music and seems a good pub all round.

Great venue for live music with a vast selection of drinks to suit all tastes. There's a sheltered beer garden out back and plenty of comfortable nooks to duck away into.
Only downside is that it does tend to get very hot and sweaty when there's a band on. Which I guess might be a good thing if you like saunas (in which case bump this score to a 5).
