The yoga instructors at Ancient Yoga Institute teach in a way that makes yoga accessible for everyone. When I first joined Ancient Yoga little did I know that embarking upon this path would transform me in many ways I never imagined. I now have a solid understanding of physical alignment and generally the way my own body moves!
At the end of every class I feel a sense of relaxation and peace. The 1 hour I devote doing yoga is undoubtedly the golden hour of my day and I look forward to attending my classes everyday. Yoga has helped me achieve all that I’ve always longed for- A little bit of work-out to break some sweat, strong stretch in sore muscles and deep relaxation at the end. It truly is blissful body and mind yoga, projecting good vibes. If you’ve been having a rough day, or simply want to relax your mind and soul, Ancient Yoga is the place. I would definitely recommend it!

Excellent yoga sessions conducted by experts. There is something for everyone here. The classes can be as intensive as one's own level of practice. Gives a good workout and relaxation at the same time for the mind and body. The instructors provide hints and tips to maximize the benefit of the posture while remaining alert to preventing injuries. Highly recommended classes.

Hi,I am having one of my best yoga experiences with Shubham Sir. I always thought that my body is not made for yoga, too stiff, but Shubham sir is so calm and patiently helping me relax and get the strength. I am a beginner and not familiar with all the names/poses but he is very knowledgeable and helpful, He started at a slower pace and kept a nice flow. I definitely feel a deep stretch and feel very relaxed during and after our session. His yoga sessions are a great mix of strength,deep breathing, good work-out to break some sweat, strong stretch in sore muscles and deep relaxation at the end. It is truly both body and mind yoga,projects really positive energy. I would highly recommend-his classes .He is been really cooperating well with me and my husband who had very stiff body…We both feel much better since we started yoga with him.

Its a great help for me to reduce knee pain a great help to increase stretchability flexibility.3 nonth ago i couldnt bend myknee but now 70percent i can after joining in march through zoom in sharjah.But with out the guidence of Sachin sir,Subham Sir
Ashiwini Sir and Pooja that woldnt have been possible.

First visit to site as I've taken an interest in history of mining in area since first moving to Cudworth three month ago found site has several information boards to capture an idea of it's history.

It was an open day so they had stalls and a pop up museum and a tour explaining the history of the site.
The reclaimed land is now a lovely green space with gardens. You cannot enter the building itself.

Barnsley Main Colliery is hidden from main view and can be found walking the entrance of the Pennine Trail in Barnsley and a 5 mins walk or so though a public foot path and the place reveals itself, holding the souls of the people who worked there and some very young children lost their lives too .
It’s has now been preserved as a grade 2 listing .
Beautiful surroundings as it’s in woodland and close to the river Dearn.
Lots of birds and butterflies if you’re interested in nature.

Nice walk, small area around the mining building to walk round but more land to explore across the road, beautiful between the trees and views across Barnsley after climbing the hill, there's other fields then that come onto the pennine trail. Unfortunately there was quite a bit of litter coming in near the road, and the area doesn't look worth a visit but soon as you get past the initial part and into the trees its lovely
