I recently went there with my friends to eat breakfast. And we order non veg and veg. The food and quality of the taste was way better and good. But the thing which made me so sad and upset was the behavior of the counter person (cashier). There was one customer who just asked to change the food and the owner shouted at him very badly and misbehaved with him which made me not go there again for eating my breakfast but still yes the food was amazing recommended.

You know when you don't even want to talk because you just want to savour the amazing flavours? That, was every mouthful.

As it was our first time, myself and my friends relied on the waiter to advise us and that was the best decision. I did however ask for the black lentils as I'd seen them on the menu and they were OMG worthy!

Simply stunning food - beautifully presented and incredibly tasty. Great service, knowledgeable staff and, did I mention the lentils?! :-)

Fantastic Indian food at a good price. My wife is Indian and she and her family love this place so it also ticks the authentic box. Top pics are chicken biryani, butter chicken and garlic naan. Service friendly and there is a large fish tank in the resteraunt which makes it interesting too! Would highly recommend!

Authentic, beautiful food that was flavoursome and also vegan/veggie suitable. Staff were amazing and fairly priced; we can’t wait to go back again

Really great Indian restaurant! The butter chicken is amazing and authentic! And the murgh malai was delicious! 100% recommended!! My family and I come here every other week, we love it.

Basically I am from south part of India and I really loved the food here. The taste is very similar to the south India spice and the price is also reasonable . I ordered veg Manchuria and Murg chicken biryani and these two are very very good and the taste is also very similar to what we eat in south part of India in Andhra. I would highly recommend this place if you want to taste some good Indian food.

Different type of Indian restaurant to the normal. Excellent service and food. Huge fish tank in the middle which seemed to work. Walked here from Southend and was worth it .

Disappointing Experience

recently visited the Chef’s restaurant with my family, hoping for a pleasant dining experience. However, I feel compelled to share my frustration and disappointment regarding the restaurant's policy that prohibited my two-year-old baby from eating from her mother's plate.

Upon arrival, we were excited to try the food and enjoy a nice family meal. Unfortunately, our excitement quickly turned to frustration when we were informed that our baby was not allowed to share her mother's food. This policy felt unnecessary and restrictive, for a young baby who would not understand these stupid roles. All restaurants are accommodating in this regard.
The manager and staff were very rode and kept asking not to let the 2 year old baby eating from her mom’s plate. We felt so angry and annoyed. We paid the bill and left the food.
The worst experience ever in the UK.
Will never go again after been a regular customer.
