What an amazing time in Dubai Diving with Apnea Zone. They really took care of me! They put together an awesome dive trio on a boat off the east coast! I also got my advanced freediving certificate and it was a wholesome and lovely experience!

First, my partner did his discovery dive with Apnea Zone. It was well organized and he was well instruced and looked after.

I then went on a one-day diving trip to Fujairah with them. The guides are super nice and professional and the equipment is fairly new and of high quality. The trip included two dives which were really good. We saw several turtles on both dives (Snoopy Island and Three Rocks) and discovered lots of little things. All in all I would (and will) definitely do it again and recommend it for courses but also for dives for certified divers. You will be taken care of on a high and professional level and value for money is really good!

The best dive center. I had completed freediving instructor course with Apnea Zone from Bassel. I can't express the experience with words. The knowledge I gained from him was huge and the way he is and how he treats his students with calm and welcoming manner. I hoping to learn a lot from you sir. Thank you so much for this wonderful feeling and experience.

Love the club❤️ The #No.1 Freediving club in the UAE, where you can meet people who are passionate about Freediving and Spearfishing. Basael is such a great mentor and a true friend. I had so many wonderful freediving trips with these amazing people!

A special thank you for Apnea zone especially Captain Bassel! With him I was able to push myself to maximize diving time and depth. The content of the freediving course contains extremely helpful techniques that could also be life saving for some people. I strongly recommend the course regardless of your diving experience. Captain Bassel made the course very enjoyable and fun.

Well, generally in life you get what you pay for. So for just £5 a round, don’t expect too much and you won’t be disappointed.
No one answered the phone after several calls, the clubhouse was closed and there were no signs anywhere about parking - the club doesn’t have its own car park so we worked out you had to leave you car in the public dog-walkers car park 250m away.
Once back at the clubhouse a sign said to put our money in one of the envelopes provided, take a scorecard and post our envelope through the clubhouse door. There were no envelopes and no scorecards. Nevertheless we posted our money and went to find the first tee.
The tee boxes (if you could find them) and fairways (careful not to break an ankle) were atrocious but in fairness, the greens were excellent - true and well maintained, but very slow.
If you set your expectations very low and have nowhere better to go, give it a try - it’s a real challenge in every way !!!

Disgraceful. Terrible quality with no sign of maintenance whatsoever. Gave up after the 3rd hole due to the amount of dog walkers standing on the fairways. Either this is a public common or a golf course. It really doesn't work as both. Spend a bit extra and play a proper game of golf elsewhere.

Arrived at the course not knowing what to expect, there was alot of dog walkers!
Fairways are absolutely covered in rabbit holes so I lost a good few balls today.
Was good fun, but a very difficult course mainly due to the maintenance on the fairways made me picture back In 1899 how courses where then!
At a £5 for 9 holes you can't expect too much, but I'd say it's worth the price more for enjoyment!

If your expecting really nice smooth fairways, this isn't the case but if you want a challenging raw course to test yourself play here!

Worst golf course I have ever seen in my life. Ground not maintained at all, such bad quality. Dog walkers walking on the course constantly. Ground very uneven and bumpy. Course covered in rabbit holes. Gave up after 5 holes. Worst course ever, should be free, can’t charge people for that.

I'd feel bad giving it 2 stars, because at the end of the day it's £5 for 9 holes! Good for practice as greens (although ok - very slow obvs) are very small, so quite testing. The fairways are very stoney in places, which can scuff your clubs, so be aware of that & the abundance of rabbit holes can result in a challenge to find your ball on occasions. So if you can put up with these few flaws & a few dog walkers with little or no awareness of golfers (as it is public land) it's a more rewarding alternative to going to the driving range!

Google Maps location is totally wrong.
The course is not marked by signs at all.
Entrance at end of Common Road dead end. No entrance from A146.
A unique golfing experience. The worst golf course I've ever played. Thats why its s a tenner for 18 holes....or more.
But the greens are decent. Unmanned clubhouse. Bring food & drink with you.
Finding your way from hole to hole is an art form. Fairways are mostly indistinguishable from off fairway.
If theres a local at the usually locked clubhouse their guidance is useful.
Lost balls are often found in rabbit holes.
People wandering across holes usually with dogs is common.
Still enjoyed the experience though.

Found this course on the web and decided to give it a go. Tried to ring and no answer and that's because no one is there, it works on an honesty box. Put £5 per person in the letter box., Sign in the book and take a card, some difficult T shots and watch out for people crossing the course, as it is on a public common. Quite a difficult little course as you have little idea where your t shots are going because the fairways are riddled with rabbit holes. The greens are very good though and we really enjoyed the challenge. Give Caldecote hall a miss and play this instead.

This course is very much shared with the public so you must be mindful of their presence. We had a great 9 holes for£10. A volunteer described the course and was very welcoming. Weather permitting will be returning.
