I first went to the Denbigh in the eighties and of course, they’ve changed hands I don’t have a clue how many times, that is owners or management. However, one thing for certain is it remains a highly valued local pub.

The inside hasn’t changed much but maybe I just don’t remember but who cares. It is a great place to socialize with friends. Over the years they've really updated the patio. It is a very pleasing outdoor space. And don’t fret in those awkward spring or autumn weather cuz they have heaters outside!!!

Service was friendly and attentive last time I went and the food was very good!!!

I highly recommend this pub for a quick bite with family or get together with friends!!!

First time visit and we were thoroughly impressed. The family have just moved to the area and the staff were extremely welcoming, as well as the locals. Andy was front of house as well as our server. We had a lovely cosy clean table with enough space for a buggy. Superb and exciting choices of food on the menu, (some options being "off menu" meant to us that food was fresh and in demand!)
The food was excellent quality, ample portions and extremely tasty. Definitely recommend the dessert menu, you can't go wrong! Andy really made our evening one to remember and we will be visiting again in the very near future.

Fabulous place for my 60 th birthday party. The Pavilion was perfect in this heat. Mindy was a wonderful host and went above and beyond helping us and served food quickly. They were fabulous for my vegan, vegetarian and dairy free guests.

Lovely meals here. Been a few times. Good quality traditional pub food with a little extra presentation. Fish & chips. Curry of the day was a Thai lemon grass chicken curry very nice.

I had the veggie burger, which wasn't brilliant , but my friends had the Duck salad and both really enjoyed it. The service was slow on the puddings , but that made the evening more relaxed

We had a table for 7 people and the food came out for all of us at the same time, everyone commented on how tasty their meal was and the service was excellent as well.

This is a great local pub with a brilliant chef! We visited for the first time today, I was a little unsure as the pub itself is a typical English pub, lots of memorabilia hanging around and old dated furniture But small things such as cushions made it surprisingly comfortable. My husband was worried that as it had an A la carte menu, the portions would be tiny. We ordered the steak and kidney pudding and duck and advacado salad. The duck was crispy, a little too much sauce but certainly didn't ruin the dish. Loaded with advacado, mixed salad leaves tomatoes and shredded cucumber. The steak and kidney pudding came with lots of seasonal veg and creamy mash and gravy. The portions were very generous.
The desert menu needs updating, one item was crossed out and something else hand written in at the bottom. We ordered the meringue with mixed berries and the chocolate brownie. Brownie tasted of chocolate (some dont) was warm and moist and the ice cream was smooth and good quality. There was a small biscuit on the top that was a little out of place and didn't go with the dish, but so small it didn't matter.
There was one member of staff behind the bar, she was very polite and helpful.
Over all a fab dinner and chilled out environment, a little bexhill gem.

We went there for Ramen Week, as we noticed it was advertised and we were intrigued, as it’s not a very common thing for an old school, traditional pub to produce such dishes. We can honestly say that we cannot fault the meal we received, incredibly well prepared, authentic and fresh. The bar and service staff were attentive, informative and friendly. A good atmosphere and very welcoming. Will definitely be going back again and would recommend it to anyone.
