• Parking spots availability: 0/10, There are no parking spots designated to this museum. You will have to park outside of Al Fahidi District and walk there.
• Staff Expertise: 10/10, staff are very polite and welcoming. They will happily answer any questions you might have and give you good directions around the neighboring museums.
• General Atmosphere: 8/10, This place will offer a small trip that will give you old Dubai vibes and you appreciate how simple and welcoming the old architecture was.
• Cleanliness: 7/10, Decent but not the best I have seen.
• Handicap Accessibility: 5/10, The main floor is easily accessible by a wheelchair but getting to the upper level might be a bit tricky since it’s only accessible by a staircase,

On my visit, there was no displayed
Ground floor is a tree inside the place
The 1st floor is empty and lock, what is nice is that you can see the Dubai Creek with buildings background and also the wooden crave that is beautiful.
Perhaps they are in a renovation process.
Staff are approachable indeed

If you want to roam around the late era architectures of UAE, this is the place to visit.

By visiting this place you can feel pre Dubai life style and architecture with some beat coffee shops of the town

Very friendly staff. They encourage you to walk up to the first floor to check out the view of the creek. They have a nice map covering the heritage buildings of Dubai and Deira. The municipality is doing a lot to restore and preserve old buildings.

Not much survives of the blockhouse which guarded the mouth of the River Colne in Tudor times although the outline is clearly visible and is easily accessible. If visiting at low tide the remains of funnel type fish traps and the pathways leading to them can be seen sticking out of the mud, although you will need wellies if you want to get up close.
