The place was pretty full when we got there. We tried the spicy chicken shawarma and beef sandwich. The shawarma is the best I’ve had till date, absolutely delicious. The beef sandwich was also nice perfectly cooked meat. The spicy shawarma is a best seller and runs out by 9pm. So it’s recommended to go before. Service is great. Definitely recommended

Visited the markets and saw this shop along the way. Usually don't eat from more or less street vendors but this had people queueing non stop and decided to gove it a go and took some shawarma for 7AED, about £1.50, had my doubts being the cheapest think we bought in UAE to that point, but it was absolutely delicious. Best shawarma we had to date.
Sat down and enjoyed at a shared table with locals no problem.

They've got one of the best kebabs! Must try when visiting Gold/Spice Souq. Really yummy!

I went to eat something here last night after visiting the souks, it really was great food for a great price the staff are super friendly.
I usually don't bother writing reviews but these guys deserve their 5 stars, I'd really recommend more tourists try this place out even if it's a little bit outside of the main tourist hub in Deira.

Small place but very good, tasty, fast. Ideal portion for teenagers as well. You can take 2, good prices.

It's always a pleasure visiting the Museum. There is a great Sir William Perkins School A level art exhibition on until March 16. Some very talented young artists indeed. The local history exhibition is a must as are the garments from The Olive Matthews Collection. There so much more to see, read and learn.

An interesting little museum, worth a visit for it's free displays. Holds an impressive amount of historical artifacts and clothing considering its small size with three floors. Would recommend for children, there are dressing up opportunities in Victorian garments and other activities such as jigsaw puzzles on the walls on the top floor in an effort to make the information more interactive.

One of the main displays on the middle floor needs some attention, however. There are buttons to press for audio recordings but these take around five minutes to listen to each, with nowhere to sit in the narrow coridoor and little to look at visually. This being as it is it's unlikely for visitors to take in the full factual information given which is a shame.

Apart from this, it's useful and accurate historically and the staff in the gift shop are lovely.

The museum visit was lovely. Fun, educative and informative. My daughter had fun finding the 10 hidden ducks. The staff were friendly. We will definitely be visiting again.

Well worth the visit. Some interesting items particularly fashions from the 1930s and history of the area. Would have loved a tea shop there as none in Chertsey town.

Quite a quaint but lovely little museum with lots of stuff from victorian times and rotating exhibitions. Lovely staff! Wholeheartedly recommend a visit to this hidden treasure.

Excellent. The Olive Matthews fashion collection is superb. The local history collection is fascinating and everything well presented. Very friendly. Love visiting
