If you'd like to taste Algerian cuisine, this is the right place. Just check beforehand what is available. Sometimes some dishes require special ingredients.
As our second time being there, we had food from starters to desert.
The place is quite and resting.
For starters we had a traditional red soup "shorba" which was excellent along with "bourek" (similar to spring rolls stuffed with ground beef and parsley) also the spicy pepper salad "Hmiss" ???? with olive oil ????
Main dishes we had : Algerian tacos with ground beef, fries, and cheesy sauce
The other plate was "shtit'ha l'ham" which is basically a thick tomato/garlic sauce with pieces of lamb meat (the meat was sooo tender)
Finally go for the Algerian tea (mint + green tea) and don't hesitate with the desert, for us it was "kalb louz" thick semolina with honey and almond but it depends on the availability.
They have pudding and other traditional sweets.

I loved everything I ordered. Even better than the Moroccan restaurants I've been to in Dubai.
Please keep it up and allow delivery for far places. I'm so in love ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Excellent! Excellent ! Excellent ! Finaly a great algerian restaurant in Dubai.
Fresh food , i try everything was so good chorba frik, couscous, tajine, sweets... well decorated, friendly welcoming, nice and clean restaurant.
Nothing bad just enjoy the time and come back again!

Love ❤️ the food
So clean and interior were in green color.
Best Algerian food ????????
Price is little expensive but worth for quantity.
I found dessert were displayed openly without any cover on the top that looks little disgusting

The restaurant is quietly tuck in Jaddaf with sandy parking area nearby.
The restaurant is small and clean so cannot go with big groups. Max 4 to 6 is manageable if the restaurant is not full.
Coming to food we went for their best sellers on the authentic cuisine ordering one with chicken and another with beef (sorry cant remember names, just photos ). First thing you will need to put salt to bring it to your taste. The chicken dish was nice but chicken seemed like the one from machine grilling with a lot of thin bread and vegetables.The beef one had a mix of meat balls and mini beef pieces with peas. Overall there was no wow factor and food was pale with no taste. I would not rule out Algerian cusine next time but will need to try some other restaurant. The food is also pricey but portions are good. Most importantly do not go if you have naughty kids else you be treated to angry staffs!!

Edited based on comment from restaurant : Thank you for your response. We managed our kids well but your staff had no right to scold or shout at them. Coming to customers, restaurant was empty except us and another occupied table and the kids did not disturb them. They just kept running to lights after eating their food which I understand can cause accident but we also kept a tight hold on them. Keeping aside all this appreciate your gesture to invite us again and we hope to have better experience.

Very good place. Felt like home, got a little dose of Algeria to cure my homesickness Garantita Bourek Frik …. Chtitha djaj and finished with some tea With a very nice ambience the waiter has been very nice and accommodating definitely advise all La MIF to come here.
