Had reason to arrange to speak/see a doctor last week. Experience was the best & the worst!!!
On the phone for 42 minutes till my turn came round. Spoke to Receptionist & explained my symptoms & following a chat with a doctor & medical student, she said I could be seen an hour later. This is the best!! big thanks for this, a five star rating, but one star for phone delay, hence 3 stars

Really, really terrible. I’ve been phoning for a week multiple times a day to get results and every time results lines has been closed, even within the hours they claim to be open. For general reception I’ve been waiting on hold for up to 40 minutes, still not able to speak to anyone.

I hate complaining online, as the doctors and nurses are wonderful. But this isn’t a sustainable way to run a surgery and it’s been happening for ages. There are complaints are far back as A YEAR ago making the exact same complaint I’m making.

If there was any other way to make my dissatisfaction known, I would. But I can’t get through to speak to anyone and there’s no email! Incredibly disappointing and frustrating service at a time when you’re looking for peace of mind.

This isn’t the first time it’s happened and I’ve cut them slack as we’re all overworked and over tired. But truly - this week has been the worst. I work during surgery hours as I’m sure many do and don’t have time to sit on the phone for 40 minutes. Really upsetting.

Lost a form with personal information on for myself and daughter and was blasé just asked to complete another.
Can't get through on the phone and as my daughter is disabled and needs medication and as can't speak to them need to go in and order. An hour and a half it takes to get through yet no phones ring inside the surgery!!!
Referral from hospital for a wet room which was not actioned
No availability for appointments. Since joining there's been Constant confusion with medication that my daughter needs to function. Asked repeatedly for confirmation of what has been issued yet can't be supplied but the prescriptions have the wrong reissue date on but!

This place has to be one of the worst doctors surgeries in the country, whenever you call you are always 8 or above in the queue. Which goes through options like making an appointment then after you have waited for no less than 40 minutes they tell you to call on the morning of the day you want an appointment and even then we will see if a telephone appointment will do. Why don’t doctors see patients anymore? These are the people who are payed by how many people are on the books! Why can’t we see a doctor or make an appointment for next week.

I was on hold for 50 mins trying to get my vital meds that they wouldn't put on repeat. In the end my cousin drove me to the surgery whilst still on hold, I was 7th in the queue and the phones weren't even ringing when we got in there. I stayed on the call while in the surgery and it still didn't get answered.

Our calls are being ignored. The surgery is awful.

Trying to get an appointment is a nightmare, this morning I was 26th in the queue!
Too many patients to doctors & the receptionists are just plan rude.

Shocking. I had an implant inserted after a year or so I wished for it to be removed so I can start a family. I missed my first appointment as it took 7 weeks and I forgot that was on me, so I made another appointment this time at the hospital they couldn’t find my implant and the head nurse confirmed it was inserted too deep. Dr cotes was the one who inserted it. I was referred back to my doctors who then checked the records to see which arm it was in, that hadn’t been recorded and I couldn’t remember which arm it was in. I was then referred to a ultrasound to find it, this took around 2 months. so I visited my doctors again to try tell me what happens next, as at this point no one had explained anything I was told I’d be called back, they didn’t call so I made another appointment as there was no one calling me back. I saw a doctor that said I would have to have it removed at the hospital and that it’s marked as urgent. This gave me a little hope and I left.
The surgeon made me a appointment and then when I called to query it, it had already been cancelled (the appointment was for a further 2.5 months time) they couldn’t give me any details and said I’d have to speak to the doctors to see why it was cancelled.
So I did and it was that it wasn’t life threatening, so my question is why did the doctor even give me little hope if they know it has to be life threatening. From starting the experience august we are now in December and I’ve now been told that dr cotes can remove it and have an appointment in January. 6 months to remove an implant. No one communicates everyone just tells you what they need to, to get you to leave I’ve had countless information not passed from one person to the next. As soon as this is resolved I’m changing doctors, DONT get your implant done here this is my 3rd and the only one I’ve ever had issue with. I’ve been very depressed having my choices and life put on hold due to this incompetent insertion. I cannot even explain the negative impact it’s had on my life this last year.
I’ve actually made 2 more appointments with the sexual health clinics earlier than my one with dr cote so if she thinks she can remove it now hopefully they can do it sooner and I can cancel my appointments and never go back.
When I was told by reception over the phone where my ultrasound would be she was also very rude and spoke to me like I was a moron which my partner heard as it was on speaker.
I was chasing up that ultrasound appointment and she said call drayburn I said what is that is it a person or place ?
She just kept repeating herself like I was an idiot, until she said it’s a hospital, I’ve only lived in the area a couple years so I had no idea what she was talking about.
There’s more but it’s been 4/5 months so I can’t remember everything.

Waited 1 hour and 7 minutes only to see that the reception was closed with no message to say it was closed and after waiting 1.07 hours @18:37 pm eventually I hung up. I am not getting the texts when I do eventually get an appointment I still get no texts to confirm it. I have been now there 5 times about the same problem and it is still not resolved. I also was called BY the surgery who gave me an appointment for a review I didn’t get any call back so unsure what’s happening with that. Normally I am very positive and happy with Cestria but lately I have been really unhappy with this, now again I will have to go through this all tomorrow again… which I’m really not looking forward too!!!!
