Why fly for hours when Thai food is available round the corner ! Authentic Thai food, lilting music and the Thai village-theme in the end - how much more Thai setting can we bring to Dubai ?

Bambooda Thai restaurant at Movenpick Grand Al Bustan is a must visit Thai restaurant in Dubai. You get to dine amongst lush greenery and colourful blooms with tables perched alongside a stream filled with koi fishes.They have newly launched an ‘Asian invasion’ night every Fridays for 150 aed for soft beverage package where you can find a wide range of Thai cuisines, live cooking and hot pot stations , salad bars , sushis, all set up like street market with different stations offering small portions of each dish.

The restaurant is located on ground floor of Movenpick hotel near Airport built in 1997 as per plaque outside and desperately needs refurbishment. The restaurant was empty with only one guest inside the the tables are sticky
lacks good ambience and needs makeover
threads were coming out of napkins , waiters
Need to know what they are serving and they should not smell very bad .
Though the food served taste good and ingredients were fresh

Must try if you are craving for Asian cuisine. Their specialty is Thai and their chefs are really authentic. ???????? Had the pleasure to experience their ASIAN NIGHT buffet every Friday and it is worth it for the price of AED 149. You get unlimited sushi, main course, live cooking stations (seafood, Pad Thai, Papaya Salad) and desserts! Don’t miss their Mango sticky rice ???? and coconut ice cream ????

Amazing experienced as always! Chef Amara Mahayothee has always been accommodating, very welcoming, she would check if everything is to our liking. Authentic Thai cuisines and highly recommended.

Had never heard of the GEM before and so glad that we chose Bambooda as the location to celebrate my brother's birthday !!!

AMAZING THAI FOOD !!! for anyone who's looking to have a pure Thai experience, this is your place ! we ordered dumplings, chicken basil, cashew nut chicken, prawn tempura, spicy beef, and one of the best mango sticky rice I've had in a while; in Dubai!

The staff was so courteous and attentive to every need ! The space was designed really well, with their own little Koi Pond, which we sat right next to ! And true to their name, every single item of guest furniture was designed with Bamboo wood !

Their price range is on the higher side and more fitting for an occasional visit, but I wouldn't mind going again to relive those DELICIOUS memories !!!

This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions. We celebrated my husband’s birthday, all thanks to the recommendation of Ms. Corazon. It was a great experience as the ambience is very welcoming, thanks to Rina and Laarni. Thank you to our Amazing Chef Amara for the scrumptious authentic Thai Food. Absolutely the best dinner we had in while and we will definitely visit again.

Great food, atmosphere, really nice chicken green curry... Tom yum is just ok, however rich. Many discounts options. Really enjoyed it, and can talk here freely, as not so busy or loud.

One of the most underrated restaurants in Dubai. Authentic Thai food, beautiful atmosphere.. you eat next to koi fish and it’s all perfect. Waiters are very nice and attentive. Nothing bad to say. If you’re looking for real Thai food this should be top of your list.
