Basko is a very nice restaurant/bar at the heart of Dubai. In the Opus building by architect Zaha Haddid, who's very well known, make sure to check out the building before entering as it is gorgeous!
Back to Basko, I heard it's owned by a Lebanese (kudos to my fellow Lebanese:)). They have an amazing view of the city center and Burj Khalifa, especially in the outdoor area! The ambiance is awesome, with nice light music. I've been told the food is great, but i personally have only tried the cocktails, and they're delicious, make sure to try the Green park. Apparently, the bartender is well known worldwide, and honestly, it shows in the cocktails ????. Service is very good, staff are the friendliest so far! It was almost 2 when they were closing the bar, so they informed us that we could check out the upper floor, which was basically a "secret bar" called Suave. So when going up the round stairs you find yourself lost with the door, then you follow the music and you go into this insane cozy club where everyone is dancing and the music is loud (commercial type of music, but fine), it was surprising and unexpected to be honest. This place stays open till 3, so you got your after-party place just one floor up:)
Highly recommended!

I’m love with the place. Starting from style ending with food,music and atmosphere.
Went on Tuesday and were amazed by live performance. Food very delicious and waiters very professional and polite. Thanks to Stepan for our dinner!
Definitely recommend!

Great brunch menu for the price. The place is very cool and the food is amazing! Only downside was that it was pretty empty when we went on Saturday for brunch which was disappointing as we were looking for a lively day.

Still, would recommend this place as the food is great and the prix fixe menu has a lot of options from every category.

I had a spontaneous lunch plan at Basko, and it turned out to be an amazing experience. I absolutely adored the unique personality and attention to detail in every aspect of the place. Each corner was like a picturesque scene, worth capturing. I was so surprised to discover that some of the wall design pieces were created by one of my favorite brands, 'Lrnce'! The staircase surrounded by mirrors was my favorite spot. Dining on the outdoor terrace was a joy. The weather, the food, and the wine truly made my day.

I went there for Saturday brunch. The indoor is a bit small but they do have a fantastic outdoor. And also there is a party floor upstairs. Very unique concept. Food wise, I'm in love with them. Pasta was my favorite. I bet their dinner menu would be even better.
I'm sick of buffet& mega brunch in dubai. If anybody feels like me then Basko is a really good option.

It’s my first time coming for dinner at this beautiful restaurant in downtown/business bay.

Located at the ME HOTEL.

Wonderful fancy dinner experience with amazing vibrant & chic interior design.

The food was extremely delicious.

I Really Highly recommend this place to try!

I would definitely love to come back here again.

One of the most hyped restaurants/ lounges in Dubai at the moment.
In a nutshell: the place looks great but the food doesn’t live up to the hype.

I love the decor of the restaurant, especially the outdoor bar area. It contributes to creating a great atmosphere for a night out.

We mainly ordered starters and sharing dishes. Although the plating is nice, the food was very simple and clearly overpriced for the ingredients that were offered. The portions were often ridiculously small and overall just average. I am quite disappointed as the restaurant has been heavily promoted over social media.

Unfortunately I also burned my finger at the hot dish the dessert was served in - the staff did not inform us that the dish was hot and unfortunately we did not notice whether the server was wearing gloves or not.

I understand that the restaurant has not been open for long, therefore I hope they take some time to review their menu and quality-price balance.

The hostess was very welcoming. Barman/mixologist gave me a pre-done cocktail from a bottle he took from the fridge u003d total mistake. You can pre make your mixtures but never with the alcohol in advance. The alcohol should be added at the moment you are serving, and if the client is sitting at the bar, you need to add it in front of him. Big turn off. Also the drink mantioned cranberry (highball cranberry, but there is no tast of it, It is only felt bergamote. I would revise the cranberry recipe dose). The place is beautiful, but If you go, go for the wine and the ambiance, leave the cocktails aside.
