I have been a Beach City customer for many many years since they started their business because a friend of my recommended it as his friend’s new business and I wanted to support a local brand. I was always satisfied with everything until now. And yes I’m giving 1 star for this because it’s extremely offensive what happened. I ordered beach pants online in 2 sizes but when they arrived I wasn’t sure about the fit. I wanted to try a third size as well. So I decided to go to my local beach city boutique in JBR to quickly try it on. I liked the fit it was looser than what I normally wear but it was gonna be okay for a casual beach day. So it was the last piece! But it had a 1 cm pull right at the front! So I asked if possible to get another piece? No. Okay, possible at least pay a discount price since it’s not a perfect item? Yes. 5%. That comes to 5 dirhams. FIVE DIRHAMS. And this comes from the owner: she/he wanted to give a whole 5 dirhams discount on a pants that had a thread pulled. Don’t give any discount then. But offering 5 dhs to a customer who has spent over the years 10k+ dhs in your boutique is OFFENSIVE. I’m never buying anything again. The quality of the clothes have been declining recently anyways. Even the last time I ordered a knitted jumpsuit the thread by the shoulders broke after 1 wear. Yes they fixed it - but when you pay 3-400 dhs for a piece of clothing, you expect a BIT BETTER QUALITY than what you would get from shein or amazon. My message to the owner: don’t offer 5% discount on your faulty items. Don’t offer faulty items to BEGIN WITH. When beach city goes on sale you can find stuff for as low as 30dhs so you know they are still make profit on it. It’s not about the money, it’s about customer service. I have clothes from Chanel, Fendi, LV, etc. but I still bought my beach wear from Beach City, because I wanted to support a local brand, I liked their unique designs and always had a good experience.
