Took 2 of my Grandchildren to find the Queens 10 Corgi Dogs around the Library which they thought was fun they even attempted 1 of the jigsaws while in there

Loads of choices, very accessible. Staff friendly and helpful. There's lots of events happening. You can even get ebooks and audio books through the library and access your account from home so you always know when items need to be returned. Go join and enjoy

Unfortunately, a couple of the library staff (aged 50+ females) behave rudely towards library users, and go out of their way to frown and grimace at people, and never smile: this creates a very unwelcoming atmosphere. Were it not for this minority, I'd have given 5 stars. Fortunately, most of the staff are friendly and professional, but it should be all, the good hospitality is let down by the bad.

It would also be nice to see at least 1 male librarian in this establishment, as well as someone of colour. I think management must be unaware of the concept of diversity and inclusion.

A large, warm and spacious library with helpful staff.
Great SciFi section, research library upstairs.
Quick choices shelves too.
Quite often relatively new books are available too

A real asset to the community. Helpful and well-informed staff, a good service for ordering books, and you can return books here from any library in Cheshire, or vice versa. There are meeting rooms available for hire, a very well used exhibition space and a little theatre space upstairs.

Thank you to our lovely local library and staff! My daughter has become obsessed and possibly found her calling with ancient history after taking out a book about Ancient Greek Myths.

Attended their Rhyme Time free session for under 5s.. brilliant and the children loved it. Highly reccomend
