Venice Bistro is a perfect place to satiate your Italian food cravings , but with an Indian twist. This place is a new addition to the booming street of Bur Dubai. There is ample RTA parking in front & back of the building. The interiors will certainly transport you to Venice with its 3D art work & handpicked wall paintings. The staff is very welcoming and ensure the Covid protocols are in place.
This was a special Veg Menu Tasting session organized by Clapstick Communications & was glad to be a part of it. Each dish was served quickly , which makes me the service was swift. Lets take a look at the dishes.

Fresh Orange Juice & Mango Passionfruit Mojito – These were very refreshing, specially the orange juice.
Nachos Supreme – This was a fusion dish – Nachos with Garbanzo beans ( Chole ) with Indian Spices & some melted cheese poured over it. Something different than the regular Nachos with beans.
Aglio Olio Pasta – This was made the authentic way, just the way I like it. Tossed in Garlic, Italian herbs this dish is a must try .
Monalisa Pasta – This was a nice Penne Pink Pasta in a rich creamy sauce. All the condiments were nicely blended with the cheese. Kids will definitely love this one.
Bruchetta– A French baquette rubbed with garlic & topped with veggies and olive oil. This too was made the authentic Italian way . The Italian herbs amplified the aroma and brought out the flavours nicely.
Italian Bhel - This was again a fusion dish of fried pasta in tangy sauce. Bell peppers & Olives not only made it look appealing but also enhanced the taste of the fried pasta. A good variation to the menu.
Naples Pizza – This was again something I liked. Thin crust pizza topped with the right amount of pizza sauce , cheese along with veggies. Sun dried tomatoes were like an incing to the cake, tasted delectable. A must try.
Bollywood Pizza – This too was thin crust with white sauce base & topped with veggies & paneer. If you are a white sauce & paneer lover this one is for you.
Lotus Killer – This was a show stopper. A fusion of Lotus biscuit & crunchy golpapdi ( gujarati sweet ) ,this was served with a dollop of Vanilla ice cream & a caramel candy. It had very fresh & crumbly taste. With the precise amount of sweetness ,this dessert will win your heart too.
Cant wait to come back & try some more varieties here.

Venice Bistro is a newly inaugurated Italian restaurant with an Indian touch in the vicinity of Bur Dubai with plenty of parking available in front of the restaurant and is quite near to Burjuman Metro Station .

The ambiance of this place will certainly take you to Venice with a beautifully crafted 3D wall, handpicked paintings, chandeliers and a white blossom tree above the couch will give you a gracious vibe of the mesmerizing interiors of this place. It was well lit with neatly placed tables and chairs and all SOPs being followed properly.

So we tried the following dishes and drinks:

Mocktails

Mango Passion Fruit Mojito: The drink was fresh and was served chilled with fine blend of mango and passionfruit flavors complimenting each other.

Fresh Orange Juice: Perfect flavor of fresh oranges and it was not at all sour. A good dose of vitamin C which was served in a peppy bulb shaped glass.

Appetizers

Nachos Supreme: In house crispy nachos served with a twist of garbanzo beans, tomato salsa, sour cream and guacamole and of course with molten cheese all over was giving a stupendous blast to taste buds. Indeed an amazing creativity by Chef of replacing the regular fried beans with garbanzo beans was definitely giving a finger licking touch to the entire dish.

Bruschetta: Crispy toasted bread topped with sun dried tomatoes, olives and oreganos. The flavors were decent and it was served with cheese and chili on top.

Pasta:

Mona Lisa: A must have pasta with a flavorsome blend of white and red sauce giving it a creamy texture Definitely a sumptuous treat with broccoli, chili peppers, sun dried tomatoes and of course parmesan cheese.

Aglio Olio: A simple spaghetti pasta with classic flavors of garlic, parmesan, chili flakes and olive oil.

Italian Bhel: In house pasta fried with veggies in arabiata sauce and some Indian flavors topped with olives and chili flakes was quite decent in taste.

Pizza:

Naples Pizza: A typical thin crust pizza with generous amount of cheese and veggies on the top definitely a tummy pleasing main course which will satiate your hunger pangs.

Bollywood Pizza: Another thin crust pizza with veggies and paneer cubes and lots of cheese on top. The best part of their pizzas is their base which is quite crunchy and crisp in texture.

Dessert:

Lotus Killer: Exactly like its name THE KILLER DSSERT, a gentle amalgamation of lotus biscuit grinded well with famous Gujarati sweet Golpapdi topped with a scoop of Vanilla Ice cream with lotus dust and caramelized candy on top. It was the star dish of the evening.

It is indeed an astounding place for good food with good price so you can spendthrift without actually making a hole in your pocket yet relish your cravings. Definitely recommend!!

Venice Bistro is one of those dining destinations that provides a unique Italian food experience with an Indian touch to it. The place is well lit and the entire ambiance is done up beautifully with carefully chosen paintings, 3D artwork, a couch with lovely blossom tree and adding a touch of greenery with articulate leafs on one of the walls, pedals n boat artifacts reminiscing the beautiful romantic city of Venice itself. The place exudes warmth n generates a very comfortable vibe.

Menu is vast with good selection of dishes for vegetarians and non vegetarians alike. Starting off we had Nachos Supremo and Bruschetta. Who doesn't like nachos? But how about giving it a unique twist by adding in garbanzo beans instead of the regular normal refried kidney beans. The sour cream, salsa, guacamole(which certainly could be better) and the warm cheese sauce makes it a complete accompaniment and elevates the taste of the entire dish. A perfect munch before heading towards the main course. Another one we tried was Bruschetta with a crispy warm bread topped with sun dried tomato, olives and cheese and tasted pretty decent too. For drinks we had orange juice and mango passion fruit drink. I chose the mango passion fruit, minty, lil sour yet equally refreshing.

For mains we taste two types of pizza Naples and Bollywood. Both were thin crust with generous amount of veggie toppings and cheese. My pick would be Naples one, it has a lovely veggie toppings along with jalapeño peppers and chilli oil which added a great unique dimension to the pizza. For pastas we sampled, monalisa pasta and aglio olio pasta. Monalisa pasta was so scrumptious with a wonderful medley of white and red sauces coating the veggies. A MUST HAVE for sure. It was cheesy, saucy, creamy and perfect for indulgence. Aglio olio was a simplistic yet classic mix of garlic, olive oil and chili flakes. It has great flavors to it. We also had Italian bhel, a refreshing twist to normal Indian bhel as it has fried pasta coated with arrabiata sauce. The fried pasta was good, a novel dish it but I wish to have more of desi spice kick to it. So it tasted just okay to me.

For desserts, we had Lotus killer. And as the name implies it was literally a killer dessert. Warm lotus cake prepared with a fusion of lotus biscuit and crunchy golpapdi(a Gujarati sweet) topped with vanilla ice cream, lotus crumbles and a caramel candy. Balanced sweetness and equally decadent. It was simply Ah-mazinggg. Overall, a perfect place to indulge in some Italian food with an Indian touch in a relaxed ambiance coupled with courteous service staff. Definitely recommended!!!!

Visited this little Italian Indian fusion restaurant located near Burjuman. The brand comes from an expert person who has run a popular Italian restaurant earlier. When we heard the story from the owner about how VENICE BISTRO came up, we were in love with the story.

The place is decorated to give you a true Venetian feeling with paintings all over and one of it right up on the ceiling. They have also put up a 3D art wall where we can click pictures and feel like we are in Venice. Interesting right?

Coming to the food, we loved eating everything here especially the MONALISA pasta (pink sauce) and the LOTUS DESSERT! Both these were the highlight of the evening. We also tried the following:

Fresh orange juice served in a bulb shaped glass. It tasted fresh and amzing.
Mango Passion Fruit Mojito- a refreshing flavour of Mango passion fruit, Lime, Mint and Soda.

Nachos Supremo- These were Nachos with a twist where instead of refried beans, they had topped it with garbanzo beans and served with Guacamole, sour cream, Salsa, Jalapenos and embellished with cream cheese.
The Bruschetta had unique toppings of sun dried tomatoes, olives and oregano.

Mona Lisa Pasta - A creamy pink sauce penne pasta tossed with broccoli, sun-dried tomatoes, bell peppers and enhanced with red chilli flakes and parmesan cheese.

Aglo Olio pasta - Spaghetti with garlic, olive oil, Italian herbs and chilli flakes.

Naples Pizza – Pizza topped with onions, capsicums, sun-dried tomatoes and jalapenos. The pizza was served right out of the oven with melted mozzarella on top.

Bollywood Pizza- Thin crust with topping of Paneer along with other veggies.

Italian bhel – It was a mixture of fried freshly made pasta, stir fried veggies tossed in Arabiatta sauce.

Lotus Killer - A warm lotus crust cake topped with cold ice-cream and a caramel. The flavor was unique and we loved eating it.

Overall an amazing place to visit and spend time with your friends & families.
