Clacton Beach definitely improved since last time. You can spend nice time with your family. The best ice cream I ever eat???? we enjoy the day ????

This beach offers plenty of entertainment and space, although the sand isn't completely smooth due to the pebbles so it is worth having a mat to get comfortable.
Getting there is simple, the A12 is nearby but can get congested at times especially with the roadworks near Chelmsford. Parking can be difficult to find and the side roads have some restrictions such as 2 hours only Monday to Saturday.
There is a train station for Greater Anglia with service every hour from Liverpool Street.
The beach itself is very long so there is plenty of space, but I'd advise a windbreaker and some extra layers as it got very breezy.????

Loved visited Clacton today, the weather was wet at times but very strong winds.

The vendors were open for business, the smell of fresh donuts filled the air.

Walked along part of the beach, saw a few people out and some walking their dogs.

Lovely clean beaches, and in the evenings it is quiet so you can really take in the beauty of the ocean. And have the beach all yourself.

Locals are very friendly, helpful. The summer here was ????

Nice and sandy with pier and other stuff around this location to make a few hours around a good thing. Lots to see and a good amount of walking to do while up and down the seafront. Highly Recommend when the weather is good and the beach bars are open in the higher season.

Fantastic beach! Very picturesque, clean with lots to do. The arcades and rides along the pier are great fun, there’s shops and places to eat all around and the beach is lovely and enjoyable to spend time in.
