Situated in the heart of Dubai's bustling Old Souq, Bluebarjeel Restaurant offers a glimpse of traditional Arabic cuisine in a historic setting. During my visit, I decided to try their Arabic Shawarma, Chicken Club Sandwich, and opted for the Pan Rasna Shesha Flavour for a complete dining experience.

The ambiance of Bluebarjeel was charming, capturing the essence of the old-world Souq, making it a delightful place to unwind and savor authentic flavors. The attentive staff was quick to take our order, and our food arrived in a reasonable time frame.

The Arabic Shawarma was the highlight of the meal. Served with fresh pita bread and a variety of condiments, the tender and well-seasoned meat was wrapped in a flavorful package that left a pleasant taste lingering on the palate. Each bite offered a burst of Middle Eastern spices, making it a satisfying treat.

On the other hand, the Chicken Club Sandwich failed to meet expectations. The chicken was dry and lacked the succulence one would hope for in a club sandwich. While the combination of ingredients seemed promising, the overall execution fell short, leaving the sandwich rather bland and unremarkable.

As for the Pan Rasna Shesha Flavour, it was decent but didn't stand out as exceptional. The shisha's flavor was enjoyable enough to relax with but didn't possess any distinctive notes to make it truly memorable. Nevertheless, it provided a laid-back and enjoyable way to unwind in the traditional setting of the Old Souq.

The service at Bluebarjeel was courteous, and the staff maintained a friendly demeanor throughout our visit. However, the wait times for the food and the shisha setup could have been slightly improved to enhance the overall dining experience.

A Good place to hang out with friends and food is ok!

I go often just for the water front breeze and to enjoy a meal by the water side!

Mesmerising restaurant. Beautiful place to sit with a lake view. Can enjoy the Sheesha, Chinese, Indian, Pakistani, & Nepali cuisine’s. Amazing vibe all around. Great service as well. Great staff that is cooperative and understanding.

This is my favourite place on Dubai creek. There are other waterside cafe/restaurants but none have this balance of location, friendly and efficient service, pleasant food and refreshments. Im not suggesting its something 5 star fabulous as people often seem to expect in Dubai, fuelled by the city's marketing hype. You might find this place noisy, messy (remember, this is literally in an open place, non-customers brushing past all the time), or smokey (i dont smoke shisha but many patrons here do) but it does offer that VERY RARE thing in Dubai, which is an AUTHENTIC EXPERIENCE, and good value. I bring visitors here and they are always grateful to find something that hasnt been manufactured just to take money or puff up the city's image agenda.

Nice place to hangout and smoke shisha with a water canal view.
It is very crowded on weekends whereas on weekdays it's not much.
The price is also good not very expensive, but the food is not very tasty.
