I can confirm, just as a lot of other comments on the website have mentioned, that Potters Bar Bus Garage do not answer the telephone whatsoever. Must have called at least 20 times today, two of which they were engaged to someone else, only for the call to ring out every time. It would appear that us Joe public, who pay their wages, are just not very important to them to be bothered to pick up the phone!

They don’t answer the phone, knowing most calls are about empty busses between Potters Bar and Barnet .????

What with Covid, we're told not to just turn up looking for lost property - so their only means of contact is the phone, which they DO NOT answer!! After 2 days any lost property will be handed over to TfL... But how to contact this garage within 2 days..!? This garage is allegedly open 8am - 8pm so I've been ringing on and off for 12 hours and just no one answers.

Had to visit there to collect my lost Oyster card. I'd left it on a bus the day before but luckily it was found and handed in by the driver or a passenger. Very helpful staff.

No one answers the phone, I have been trying to find my lost property since Tuesday but no one have answered the phone. I don't want to go down there if my lost property isn't there. I have rang in the morning, mid afternoon, late afternoon and nothing. Just rings out all day, terrible. No point having a phone line if you are not going to use it.

I have a little problem about my student oyster and student card.
This morning I'm lost that on the bus 263:
My name is Nadia Santeramo, if someone find that card, they can leave at East Finchley Station. I travel by metro every day.

Considering the number of bus routes having their base at Potters Bar, the number of routes actually covering the town (3) is somewhat dismal. The 84 & 242 finish earlier than tfl routes. Their timekeeping is relatively non-existent. And London services are forever leaving the garage to maintain service, but not operational before travelling at least 3 miles. In some cases farther. Dreadful waste of fuel.
The drivers are normally great but overall this garage and Potters Bar services could be much better.
14.11. 84 due 1647 opp Cask & Stillage PH. Arrives 25 mins late. Told by driver, bus & driver changing @ P.B Garage. Boarded bus. No driver @ time. Then driver into cab. Another garage staff member then seemed needed to start bus.
Question being. Bus there but no driver. WHY???. Recruitment may be a problem but I find that a limited excuse. Why Oh Oh why Potters Bar station to St. Albans 15 min service. New Barnet - Potters Bar 30 mins if lucky.
