I got food poisoning from the fish. As I was eating it, it smelled and tasted bad but I stupidly ate it anyway and now I am very sick. It’s a shame because the food is usually very good but this is for sure the last time I ever order and i will be passing the information on as well to other people. They need to properly train their staff on food hygiene standards and how to identify spoiled food, even though it’s very obvious when fish is bad.

Lived in dubai 11 years it’s hard to find good Jamaican food if any. I ordered curry goat and rice. It was so good I had to call the restaurant to let them know they brought Jamaica all the way to Dubai! This food had me dancing in the kitchen listening to buffalo solider as if I’m in Montego Bay. If anyone says otherwise they have mash up taste buds. 100% Certified food right there! Thank me later

Great food at a great place. Fish was done well and so was the chips. We were not super hungry and they happily allowed us to order the kids meal which is a smaller portion.

Overall I still find the food quite expensive. 15aed for sauce and 25aed for a can of imported drink is extortion. Despite the food being expensive the quality is superb

Excellent F&C. Better than most places in the UK, I think. So happy Bob’s has finally made it to Downtown

Standard fish&chips was not worth 64 dhs. Too much oil in fish. However, service was good
