Pretty good deal on a hostel for a couple of backpackers on the budget in pricey Dubai. For barely more than the price of a single dorm bed in Dubai Marina, you have a small private room for 2, it's not fancy the room is small and has a fan rather than AC, but it also has a clean and convenient private bathroom in the room with is a major asset for such a cheap price in the heart of Dubai Marina. The hostel is ok with a big kitchen and a good living space, the whole place wouldn't be so good if it wasn't so well cleaned and managed by lovely Viola here in photo with us. Awesome assets are the swimming pool and gym open for the hostel guests for free & unlimited.

The lady who was working there was quite rude. When checking in, I waited 20 minutes in the common area and when she came, she didn’t even say hello, she asked what do I want and I felt very unwelcome. I really felt like I was disturbing her even though it was not even late, maybe 6-7pm. Overall, the hostel is lacking simple tidiness, the fridge was not working for several days and it smelled very bad. The girl who was working there was also talking bad about other visitors and it looked very unprofessional.

Enjoyed the quite peaceful environment there feels like home and more than frnds or family feeling with all new travelers, exposure of learning culture and tradition ????

I was here for a one night extended layover, which happened to be new years eve. I'm a woman traveling by myself and had a very good experience. The staff (Mohammed, Mustafa, Vitaly, apologies if those aren't spelled right!) were very friendly; i went to the beach (5 min walk) to watch the fireworks with them and another guest. I would absolutely stay again if i come back to Dubai.

The place is a bit hard to find from the outside, but if you are on The Walk, go up the stairs next to the Starbucks and take a right, then look for JBR building 4. Security has to let you in and then you go up to the actual hostel on the 23rd floor. It's an apartment/condo that has been set up as a hostel. I felt like i was staying at a friend's place rather than a more typical hostel. The location is amazing!

I had a hard time getting a vibe for what this place would be like in advance, but it was a good experience and i would recommend it.

Bed which was given to me broke . The beds are pathetic , I was afraid that the guy adove me also will break and fall in my head.
Wifi connection speed was very low .
The guy in charge who is running the hostel was sleeping along with us and he was snoring heavily disturbing everyone. But prblem was I have snoring problem , he was kicking my bed in night time and not allowing me to sleep and he was giving advice to me on how I just sleep so that snoring can be minimal . I had 2 days of sleep less night. What was more pathetic is he was threatening me that if he sees me snoring he will wake me up in daytime also. Very inhuman . So avoid this hostel at all cost.
Billiards table is not free , they want you to pay and play.
There was no orderliness in the hostel where things are kept Shabbily by all guests , the sofa and balcony is always occupied by some guests
Charging points were all Dubai style pins and we could not use the normal chargers ..I had to buy a 3 pin plug to use my laptops and mobile chargers.

If possible, don't book this hostel.
When I arrived there, I did not find anyone who could show me my bed and I ended up just picking a random one.

I had a booking which i made 2 weeks in advance but i was told they are already full. Only good thing, the woman was really friendly and tried to get me to another hostel, which was also full.
