This is the place to go if you're looking for the freshest seafood. It was definitely worth waiting for a table, because the fried fish and prawns were amazing. In combination with rice and bread, it makes a delicious meal. Despite being tiny and simple, it's still better than all the fancy fish restaurants in town. Highly recommended!

Amazing amazing amazing for sea food! Fresh produce caught from the sea, served fresh and tasty. Love it. However it would help if the hygiene was a little better. But the taste and the amazing service makes up for it.

This was my first experience at this pioneering Kerala seafood restaurant in UAE. I was really surprised to see such a big crowd of mostly tourists here; didn't realize this fare was enjoyed by so many!

Located at the very end of Kite Beach and quite close to the Burj Al Arab, this is a humble restaurant whose interior looks more like a cafeteria. The dining area is mainly outdoors during good weather, with benches set up on the deck on two levels.

Customers have to queue up (and mind you, the queue is long!) and order at the counter. Fish may be chosen among the displayed fare along with the preferred level of heat and spice. It is then weighed and the total cost depends on the weight.

The preparation and waiting time is quite brief considering the crowd and quantity being cooked! We chose a large fish and some large prawns to be grilled, along with the usually available ghee rice and accompanying gravy. We also ordered a porotta to soak up the gravy and a drink.
The fish was beautifully cooked with lovely crisp skin and soft, white tender flesh inside. The prawns were equally good but a little too greasy for me. The rice and gravy went along well with the fish and prawns.

The flavour is quite subtle and not the fearsome hang-your-tongue-out kind of hot and spicy, which was a major plus point for me! Probably to cater to the tastes of the majority.

Great food for group dinner! So delicious! Love the fish and prawns ???? Could have been awesome if there’s soy sauce and vinegar on the side for the fish ✌????

One of the best fish fry I ever tasted. At first I thought they were grilling, coz the aroma so delicious around the restaurant but then I came to know they actually fry all the items we select from the menu. However definitely best in taste and highly recommend to enjoy tasty sea food.

Overrated restaurant. The process of getting the food was not easy for a first timer. Staff could be little more courteous to its customers. Cash only business got me little annoyed. But they accept euro and dollars to keep the business. Tried the fish and prawns with ghee rice and fish curry. Food was good but disappointed with the whole experience.

Fried fish & prawns. This is the menu here since I remember. Limited menu but that’s kept the quality top class for ages. This time it was Sheri & black pomfret along with the usual prawns. The next day after Eid - well had to wait for 40 mts to order and another 40 mts for the food to come. But it did not disappoint. The sides are fixed - Ghee rice, Kerala parata, fish curry. The fish comes at 70 per Kg and the prawns at 150 per Kg. If you like sea food do not miss this place. I have been going there since the time it was in a small porta cabin. Enjoy

one of my best seafood restaurant in dubai, i use to go there for a dinner once or twice a month, you have to keep online and wait for your turn to select from the fresh fish and shrimp. the fish always fresh and tasty me and my family always order spicy fried fish with puratta and lentil gravy. thank you guys food was delicious and excellent service
