A lovely park with a little cafe. Fair amount of play equipment for the kids to play on, nice open field for playing. Sand pit, tennis courts and 5 a side pitch

My soon loves coming here. Plenty of different features to the park and he loves the big slide. There are toilets and a cafe on site also. It's clean and well maintained

Went here with family Inc. 6 and 3 year. Plenty of slides, swings and climbing frames, for all age groups. Large sand pit kept little ones busy for ages. Huge grass are for picnics and games. Made up road for scooter and bike practise. Ice cream shop open. You can spend a day here.

Visited around 11:00am on a Thursday. The car park had plenty of space. It was a cold but sunny day however the ground was quite muddy around all the play areas which is likely the case at many other similar parks. It's well equipped with many play features for young children from a large sand pit to a zip wire. It has several slides and to my mind plenty of seating spots to sit for those of us with less energy. A bowling green and wider walking area exists beyond the play area. A café was open serving food outside and inside. Separate toilet facilities are available though my wife said the running water was cold. We spent two hours here with two under 5's who really enjoyed their time here. By 1pm the car park was full.

A busy park with a playground sand pit etc popular cafe toilets dogs are supposed to be on a lead but at quiet times a lot of people let them off for a run tennis courts a bowling green occasionally hold big local events

Never knew about this place till yesterday. I've been missing out.
Lots of open space and a decent amount of relatively new equipment. A decent sized sand pit is also there to keep the kids amused and cause you pain when you try cleaning it off them.
Car park ain't very big though but at least it's free, or at least I think it is - I didn't pay anyway.
The best part for me though is the cafe to the side - drinks, burgers, cakes, sandwiches. Definitely bringing the kid back here again.

My little one loved the whole park and really enjoyed the digging in the sandpit as there are buckets and spades all there for children to use lively afternoon had by both of us

Great little park and we'll kept. Nice cafe and still has public toilets ( well kept aswell ). Sand pit and crazy golf open during summer months. Also has outdoor adult gym equipment. Love it
