Cando Restaurant failed to meet my expectations for Iranian grills, especially kababs. The flavors were lackluster, and the meat lacked tenderness. The overall dining experience was underwhelming, with average service and a lack of ambiance. Improvement is needed to provide a more authentic and satisfying Iranian cuisine experience.

Really nice local restaurant. Here you can enjoy the traditional Iranian cuisine and the fantastic homemade beverage. We visited this restaurant on January 13. I tried the most iconic lamb stew with rice, and it was very impressive. The portion is a bit too big for me though. Last but not least, compared with other restaurants in Dubai, the prices are quite affordable considering the quality of the food you can get. If you plan to visit the Dubai old town, I really recommend you to include this restaurant into your trip planning.

Don't miss it if you are in Dubai .. the slow cooked meat is to die for... Everything else is fresh and tasty. Excellent prices and good ambience. Don't miss out.

Was in the Deira area and fancied Iranian food so went to Cando restaurant after seeing the reviews online.
We ordered Zeytoon, Mirza Ghassemi and Kashk bademjoon for our starters. They brought us 2 breads and also gave us cheese and sabzi (I assume complimentary but not sure).
For mains we ordered koobideh with tadig and Ghorme sabzi with tadig.
Finally for dessert we gor Faloodeh and Bastani. For drink we had 2 small bottles of water.

The Mirza Ghassemi looked very red, a lot redder than it should be, but tastewise it was nice.
The Ghorme sabzi tasted nice and homely.
For the dessert they actually brought out freshly squeezed lemon juice which was a nice touch.

The tadig was a bit of a let down to be honest, it was undercooked and disappointing.

The only critism I have is they served the starters and literally 2 minutes later the maina came out. Ideally the mains should come out towards the end of the starters and not immediately after. We ended up skipping starters and going straight to mains. Otherwise the service was good and the lady serving us was friendly.

The total bill came to 220dhs.

I would recommend Candoo restaurant for sure and will definitely be back.

My favorite restaurant

The BBQ is so juice and yummy.

The neck with rice is a must try one of the best.

At the end you order Iranian black tea to end your experience

The Persian speciality dishes mahiche and chelo gardan are fantastic. The most tender meat I have ever tried. Simply falls of the bones! The gravy is delicious and the dish goes really well with berberry rice. End the meal with a nice warm mug of irani tea. Service at the restaurant is great. Highly recommended
