Stop....listen, the photos do not do this place justice!!
Cod was massive!!! Everything is fresh!!
We also had cod roe cooked perfectly and batter on sausage was crispy!! Fishcake was the only let down...not on taste just a little on the small side!! Back there tonight!!!

Food awful, asked for oap fish and chips, sent them into panick.
We went given the nice looking fish already cooked. Instead a lad came from back of shop with 2 very small looking pieces and over cooked them and full of grease. Chips small portion but okay.

Used this chippy a few times. Excellent fish n chips. The staff are very polite and friendly. Will recommend

The Best Fish & Chips locally, the fish is always thick, flakey & great golden batter, always roasting hot.
Great staff.
I’ve never been disappointed and great value for money.

Been using the Barnham Fish Bar for almost 40 years, and have to say that the standard has constantly been excellent. The staff,overtime have been exceptional, the current ownership, whist a long term family business, has done Barnham proud and I wish all involved a good New Year ahead. ‘ The Scotsman’
PS: Tonight’s supper was very enjoyable!!

Visited Barnham fish bar as in the area on holiday, probably the best fish and chips I've had for some time, fish was cooked fresh whilst you wait but was the wait worth it.
Reminded me of how fish and chips used to be and taste, big flakes of white cod and proper chips can't wait to revisit.

Beautiful food and a customer service that reassured and reminds you that there are small businesses worth visiting. Just up the road is a delightful vintage vinyl record store and a retro collectable store just across the diner. Food order was neatly packed and wrapped. A delicious way to end the day. ????

Best tasting fish & chips in the whole of West Sussex! The team are quick, and very friendly too.
