It was okay. The restaurant is not busy but I think they are short staffed. I have had to inform the staff I would like to place my order. Not sure why my order came in a bowl but there was so much soup. It became like a noodle soup far from the photo on the menu. I must say it taste good and veggies were cooked just right. Menu was extensive-lots of choices and cheap! Service can be improved.

Stopped by for dinner after long day shopping. Food was tasty and the service was prompt. The restaurant was busy so that should have been a good sign from beginning. I would highly recommend the chicken dumplings as they were fresh and tasty.

On weekends, we wanted to have Chinese food hence visited the China Town restaurant in Central Mall building. It was terrible experience.
It is small restaurant and ambience is Okay however food is terrible. We ordered Drums of Heaven and chicken noodle. Drum of heaven taste like besan pakora and Noodles taste was also not so great.

Good dependable Calcuttan-chinese food, my home place. A bit of old world charm. The food is very very good, wholesome, readily prepared, served in a ziffy- even when they are full. Presentation is routine. Half portions are available of almost all the items. Service is prompt usually. Clean ambience. No music. This new location just inside the Central mall next to Sharaf DG metro station is much smaller now.
Before, this restaurant was bigger and was located in the next building. After shifting also, the food quality is same.
Prawns and fishes are my favourites. Though all the rest are also very good. The half portion reduces the quantities by a large extent but still very tasty.
Highly recommended for a budget plan but very tasty authentic Calcuttan Chinese food..

We ordered:
Steam Wontons - 8/10
Hot & Sour Soup - 8/10
Sweet Corn Soup - 10/10
Fried Honey Noodles with Ice Cream - 4/10

Honestly, our food was great. The portions are amazing & the flavour is great. My only problem was with the service - when we ordered honey fried noodles with ice cream, we specifically asked if they use vanilla ice cream (because we have received chocolate ice cream at other places in the past) and the server said yes and because she seemed a lil confused, we asked multiple times to confirm it's with vanilla ice cream and she said yes. Yet we received barely there honey on fried noodles with strawberry ice cream.
We had decided we'd come again after trying the food and seeing what other patrons were ordering but the dessert left a sour taste in my mouth lol. When I complained while paying, the manager didn't even seem to care really.

Great food, meh service.

Chinese restaurant gives option of half and full plate quality is too good Ambience is cool.food taste yummy.I would recommend everyone to try it.

You can have your meal in peace, serving time is quick and food is tasty. Would definitely want to come back again.
