Where do we begin? We were lucky enough to host our wedding at Thurning and we couldn’t be happier that we did.
The gardens were full of colour and interest, providing the perfect backdrop for our perfect day. So many guests commented on the beauty of the venue and how they hadn’t ever been anywhere like it.
Lara and George couldn’t have been more helpful; in the lead up, guiding us with logistics and always quick to answer our questions, as well as being on hand on the day itself.
As a true dry hire venue you really have the freedom to personalise every element of the day, without set lists of suppliers, extra fees, or restrictive rules. We cannot recommend Thurning enough - our only regret is that we can’t relive the day all over again!

Such a magical venue! I love working at Thurning, it offers such a beautiful backdrop to my clients creating their own unique day, packed with personal details. Lara and George are the perfect hosts and will do anything they can to help.For creative couples looking for a beautiful marquee venue and a location for your outside ceremony Thurning Hall should definitely be on your shortlist!

We were lucky enough to be able to have a resent family photo shoot at this beautiful home. The grounds were just magical, and the late afternoon light was just perfect, as the sun twinkled through the trees. The gardens were rustic, wild and real. Filled with beautiful roses and blossoms. The old wall garden was my particular favourite. Lara was so welcoming and helpful and allowed us and the photographer the freedom to explore and find the perfect place for our photo shoot. I would strongly recommend this beautiful stately home and Lara and George, as hosts, their passion radiates through the estate, and if you love the wild, romantic country side location, this will be just perfect for you. Thank you Lara, your beautiful home added a timeless look to our photographs.

We were part of the Bjou Craft Fair today. We have never been to the hall before, but it was beautiful!! Its lovely just to walk around, and it's an amazing space just to sit and watch nature in. It's a truly stunning place, so many thanks for having us there x ❤

A beautiful house with magical gardens and the most welcoming hosts. The perfect place for a totally unique wedding celebration. I can't wait to visit again and see the grounds in their summer glory!
