Very good course excellent greens but on the small size, 9 hole course with different Tee boxes for the back 9, very good value for money. Fairly open with a couple of tough holes. Clubhouse is open and airy, outdoor seating also available, food and drink at a really excellent prices.

I love the course and the variety of tees. It's an 9 hole course with lots of tee options. The fairways were nice and even, not flat but challenging smooth and had a variety of speeds and unwelcoming bunkers. I enjoyed my day immensely and would return when I can.

Excellent facilities and exceptional management team whom are friendly caring and supportive.
Superb grounds with dining and drinking facilities.

Some fruitful characters and players on the membership always pleased to give helpful advice to improve ones match.

Highly recommended course, The Manager Stuart is top class professional.

Five Star ***** Course always helpful and frequently busy with like minded golfer's.

Not golf related but we hired the clubhouse for my mum's party and it was amazing all round. Nothing was too much trouble, the staff were all so pleasant and helpful and the venue itself was great. It was so nice to be able to look out over the greens and it was such a reasonable price. A massive thank you to all the staff involved and a special mention to Laura for being so helpful.

A good experience. Four of us with two tee times. We had a coffee before starting and were very happy with the service and the friendliness of the lady golfers in the clubhouse. Once out on the course the conditions were wet but playable. A fre temp greens and tees did not spoil the experience. Some tricky holes. Impressed to see the Greenkeepers working hard. Once we finished we were pleased to see the bar was still open and Carla was excellent in ensuring that we were looked after. She kept open until well after her usual closing time and was really good company. It finished off a really nice day. We will be back.

32 members of our Golf Society played our first match of the season at Dereham on Friday 22nd April. We enjoyed an excellent friendly welcome from the Club Secretary and his staff. The clubhouse is spacious, well laid out and the terrace overlooking the course is a delightful area. The bacon rolls and coffee pre game were great value and all freshly made and hot and the bar prices relatively inexpensive compared to some.

The golf course was in very good condition for this early part of the season and the green keepers have obviously worked hard over the winter months. Despite it being only a 9-hole course, the differing tee boxes means only 1 hole plays the same distance. The slope rating for the course will surprise many but is testimony to the challenging nature of some of the holes. The tee position on the Par 5 Hole 14 is really quite intimidating!

I would highly recommend a visit to this small but exceptionally friendly golf club.

Our course is Fakenham Golf Club and we played Dereham on 12th June, appreciated the welcome our 4 some received from your front desk staff. Very friendly, welcoming, polite, and made us feel more than welcome. Your course is a credit to the ground staff, fast greens, lovely fairways, lovely trees all around and some really challenging holes. The service in the bar was excellent, Becky was great and the food was delicious. We will return very soon and once again many thanks to all your staff.
