All fake perfume you will get hard to get find authentic pure original purfume but original those are already branded like Ajmal Swiss Arabia, Arabian oud, AL Haramain, elite oud, and similar branded only...

Don't go on Friday as shops may not open, as happened with me. However some shops opened later and I was able to check the perfumes. The perfumes are largely based on perfume oils and are similar to Afghani fragrances however few shopkeepers have various oils with them and they can make various fragrances to your taste. I would have returned empty handed, if my driver would not have given me a phone number of a shopkeeper. I must say that the shopkeeper of perfume shop Al Waha was very nice and gave me good price for various perfumes. I bought 5 bottles and these perfumes stay on body or cloths. Oudh is a famous fragrance in Saudi continent and it feels like I'm in Dubai even when I use this fragrance at my home in india :). This shop is in front of gate of gold souk. U can trust him and this is the only issue when we go to other places and buy products. I didn't find branded international perfumes here but these local perfumes were good and cheap too. From rs 200-1000 you can get good fragrances. You can take oil also which are very good. You must go and keep whole day for this place ... You will check out gold souk also ????????.. enjoy !!

What an incredible experience! Perfumes, gold, jewlerly, spices and so much more. We were a bit confused and uncomfortable but just like being in China Town in NYC you do it. The spices we brought back home as gifts were trully unique and special. They seem to also specialize in special creams and soaps. Lol

Had a nice time exploring the souk. Be careful of people telling you to follow them because they have some miracle recipes against baldness or acne. They will bring you to a shop and tell you to buy things there.

It's a cool place with various stores where you get to see varieties of Gold, but you gotta have loads of money if you plan to buy from any store here, I eventually didn't buy any because they were above my budget. But beautiful pieces are sold here from 18carat to 22carat ????

01/05/23: back again, still a good choice of craft ale and dog friendly. [photo update]
12/08/22: Hebden Bridge Ale Trail: The Albert pub, The Famous Albert, formerly The Albert Hotel. A Victorian style pub throughout, decorative adornishments on the walls, unusual light fittings and a smattering of musical instruments amidst two quirky rooms, with a small benched seating area outside. Set on a plot of triangular land, this pub offers a few craft ales and an extensive gin list.

Friendly welcoming pub. Good range of real ales from Timothy Taylor, Black Sheep and Theakstons. Ale kept well and well poured.

Last time here was pre the terrible 2015 flood. By my rubbish memory it has been updated to a very high standard. Liked it before and like it now. Had my first pint of Theakston's Light Foot Golden Ale. Lovely. Good vibe.

Served quickly, bar staff friendly but it was quiet to say it was Saturday afternoon. It's also much more expensive than other locals which may reflect how much busier the other pubs are. Last year we watched the national here but this year they didn't show it, which could be another reason.

When all the rest of the pubs are crowded out you can count on getting served here, great service, very well staffed, seating inside and outside and a good selection of wines and beers, what more do you want.

Absolutely have to recommend you go to the open mic sessions at The Albert. They are a fantastic way to spend an evening & you get to listen to amazing live music from some of the most talented musicians the Calder Valley has to offer! AND ITS FREE! All they ask is you go buy a drink, sit down and have a listen! I can't recommend them highly enough!!

Lovely home cooked food in a very pleasant pub. If you fancy some music, there's a guitar and mandolin and a piano for anyone to have a play with.
