Seems one of those neglected restaurants that don’t live upto their name. From the looks you expect traditional Delhi food and unfortunately they were not even close to it. Freshness also is a concern. Oil used was also bad.

Quality, quantity and Taste of food is good but service is very poor, "DD" double D does not mean "Dill khol kar Day" Dahi raita served once for free means included in cost with biryani we ordered but if you ask for repeat waiters reminds us for "CHARGE LAGEGA". they thinks customers are coming to Delhi Darbar restaurant to enjoy charitable food which they are going to get only once for free for repeat order we have to pay.????
This tone of waiters words does not match with restaurant's name or standard.

I prefer to visit Lebanese restaurant where they serve freshly baked bread for free unlimited instead of going to place where waiters worried about serving extra raita.

(This was my experience)
But i still recommend others to visit if they want to taste delicious food specially butter chicken, mutton biryani and seekh paratha which we had and it was delicious.
(Try to avoid asking for anything which they serve for free).

A good place to kill your hunger with Delhi style and Mughal taste it was a great time eating there me and my girlfriend we both loved the food there and staff and environment is also good , so one of the recommendations for Indian food lovers

It was our first-time experience with Delhi Darbar. I would say they need a lot of training in customer service. Waiters are not very friendly, it took them literally 10 mins to give ketchup or roti.
The food was not that wow either- mutton biryani was not available, nalli wali nihari had this weird smell and tawa keema was so disappointing.
Shami kabab, Malai boti and seekh kabab were good. The garlic naan was also nicely done.
The gajar halwa and doodhi halwa were very good and worth eating second time.
The overall ambience is just average.

Delhi Darbar is a must-visit Indian restaurant for anyone who loves biryani and butter chicken. The biryani is packed with flavor and cooked to perfection, while the butter chicken is rich, creamy, and simply delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the service is friendly and attentive. Highly recommended for a great Indian food experience!

Visited Delhi Darbar Restaurant in Karama and had a good experience.

Delhi Darbar Serves the best mutton biryani with their delicious raitan with distinct taste. Really enjoy their biryani by even ordering in bulk for family gatherings. Also tried ther seekh paratha and chicken Chinese Sizzler which tasted super delicious but was a little pricey for the quantity. Also loved their Butter Chicken with tandoori roti. The butter chicken had a good balanced flavour and more on the spicy side just how I and my family likes it.

All together a wonderful experince and really friendly and good staff who serve you at their best efforts and a very hygienic clean restaurant with ample seatings. I would recommend you to visit them and enjoy the food with your family.

The place was packed on a Saturday afternoon and although they have an upper level it was not really open at the time but I guess it is opened up for dinner.
The place reminds me so much of a restaurant style from India and fortunately they maintain a good hygiene too
They have ample number of staff to attend to everyone and that’s what always matters
They serve food all at once which means they are always prepared for their customers orders
Now onto food; we loved every single thing that we ordered
Chicken Lollipop was so good
Tandoori chicken was not at all dry like most places and we actually enjoyed the tender and juiciness of it
This has to be the best Mumbai style Biryani I have had because I am very picky when it comes to having biryani from outside my own home and this has to be a good one from all the other representations of Mumbai BiryaniI have had
Loved their naans and they were soft and i loved how they weren’t too chewy too
It’s food is very good for a family lunch or dinner time and would totally recommend it
