At the moment, they have a 4.2 rating and deserve more! Hence, our 5.

Busy place, Nice atmosphere, good choice of music, whiskeys and beers, we particularly enjoyed the haggis, burgers look and are great too. Prices are friendly and perfect for the quality you're getting. Staff is friendly, but a little busy as the place was completely full.

Tip for the owner: make a whiskey list with a short description of what you're getting, so tourists know what to pick.

Very friendly staff. We get in on 8:30PM and had to wait half an hour to have a table. They gently proposed us to wait at the bar of the restaurant. Typic scottish food, very tasty. The restaurant is nicely decorated and has a beautiful terrace with a view on the lake. Booking recommended.

Great outside terrace for a few well deserved post hike pints, dog friendly too.
Food was very nice and the kids meals were a good size. Good selection on beers. Will visit again. The queue for drinks in the whiskey bar was long but that wouldn't deter me from going again. Could do with another member of bar staff.

Got the venison lasagna and cheesecake for dessert which were both very nice. Portions were pretty big. Personal was very kind. You should expect to have to wait to be seated (at least for dinner) but you can sit in the bar and wait.

So, some of the members of staff was not great at all, some of them was really nice - the reason we have left in the bill service charge, just for good ones. Food was not good at all; we’ve paid £57 for a lunch, and “steak” about £18 just for a pot with meat and chips was so bad! I didn’t even eat it. My partner loved his food. Starter was amazing!! In average 3 stars max. Not sure about the other places around, but I would go somewhere else.

Came to this bar on my first night in Fort William.
Great food and drinks
The staff worked very hard
The staff are very friendly and efficient
I enjoyed the food here so much we came back the following night
I had the steak pie and chips
It was beautiful and tasty followed by cheesecake
The bar is very clean
The toilet was clean and quite impressive for a bar.
We were able to have a drink at the end and not rushed like some places.

Amazing food and service! Staff were super friendly and welcoming and the food was hot and fresh, everything needed after a day of exploring! Thanks guys. Would defs come back!

Most staff very welcoming and friendly, our waitress the complete opposite. Even when I politely asked if it's possible to substitute the slice of blue cheese for ANY alternative I was told it's not possible. It was only after my obvious bewilderment that she checked with the chef and 5 minutes later returned and said it's okay.

Most of the food was very nice and priced reasonably, although my partner's chips were anaemic and not at all appetising.
