Urgent and Unacceptable: Inexcusable Failure in Customer Satisfaction

My name is Pierre Boutros and I am writing to express my utter disappointment and frustration with the deplorable level of service I have received from your company that they left me no choice but to reach out to Du management on LinkedIn! As a loyal customer, I expected nothing less than efficient and reliable telecommunications services, but sadly, Du has failed me in every aspect.

On 21st July, I requested a connection home relocation, a seemingly simple task that your company should be well-equipped to handle. However, what followed was a nightmarish experience that has left me without essential telecommunication services for days.

First and foremost, your customer support team's performance was appalling. Not only were they unhelpful and indifferent, but they also demonstrated a complete lack of knowledge and competence to address my concerns. It is shocking that a company like Du, which claims to be a leading telecommunications provider, cannot even provide basic assistance to its customers.

To make matters worse, your company seems to have an impenetrable barrier between customers and the higher levels of management. It is deeply troubling that there are no accessible channels to escalate issues or speak to someone who can genuinely resolve problems. This lack of accountability shows a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction and reflects a toxic company culture.

The most alarming part of this entire ordeal is the revelation that your technical team and IT team have no clue about the root cause of the problem, rendering them completely ineffective in fixing the issue. How can a telecommunications company be so clueless about its own infrastructure and services? This is a severe failure of management and highlights a complete lack of investment in training and development.

Du's mismanagement and negligence in addressing customer concerns are evident in every step of this process. It is evident that your company prioritizes profits over customer satisfaction, and this s wholly unacceptable. A company that cannot provide basic customer support, lacks transparent communication, and fails to identify and resolve technical issues is a clear sign of a company in crisis.

I demand immediate action to rectify this situation. It is not enough to offer empty apologies; I expect tangible and prompt solutions. As a customer, I deserve to be treated with respect and receive the quality of service I am paying for. Anything short of that would only reaffirm Du's disregard for its customers and commitment to mediocrity.

I implore you to take this matter seriously and demonstrate that you value your customers. Your actions will determine whether I continue my association with Du or decide to take my business to a company that prioritizes customer satisfaction and respects it

Had a lovely experience changing my contract. Frida was extremely accommodating and very friendly to talk to. She explained everything and made me change contract with great ease. She is a lovely employee and I am very satisfied with the service of DU in Dubai Hills Mall.

The overall service of Du is just mind boggling!! Simply the worst customer experience online and offline that I’ve had ever at any company.

Their online call center service just keeps giving wrong information that does not match to the actual processes the store can execute. The staff in store seems to not understand what they can and can’t do and they look like their having the worst time in their lives.

If you can avoid using their service I would. Definitely avoid the 5G home internet service, that simply doesn’t work and cancelling is impossible.

Her exceptional assistance and patience in addressing all my inquiries, securing the most favorable offer, and guiding me through the entire procedure were truly remarkable.

Bad service; couldn't get a simple task done that was easily taken care of at another branch. On top of that, the on-site manager on Saturday night was unprofessional, with an attitude, despite seeing on his system that what I was asking for is routinely done in other branches with the exact paperwork I had. You're better off going to one of the more established branches with more competent staff.

It’s surprising to read all these negative comments about Du and they don’t seemed moved by them at all, reflects the sheer lack of respect, i guess when they know that customers don’t have much of a choice they can rule the world.

I’ve been struggling to simply add a new device to my mobile number (Apple Watch ultra), online it says i have to go to the store, while the store says that I’m eligible to add another device, confirmed after a credit verification was done.

Visited the dubai mall store and they don’t have it in stock, took my mobile number with a promise to call back but no news since.

Customer care has been incompetent with emails been sent using a script, even getting my name wrong????????

@Du all i want is a watch, why do you guys make it so frustrating. I do hope soon we are able to rate the standard of customer service and if the ratings go below power companies are fined

I had the worst experience with DU as i am closing the account.
After cancelation and handing over the device, i was asked to wait 5 days for the final bill calculation. Five days later, no email was sent, and i visited the branch to collect my remaining deposit, they surprized me that only now they will request to generate final bill, and i was asked to come back another day to collect the money.
I spoke with the branch manager, and she told me that i can make a complaint by calling 155. I called the number, and the representative told me a new set of information, which is different from what i was told in the branch. He kept asking 'why you want to make a complaint?'.. and when i explained to him why, he said we can't make a complaint for you and i need to send an email.
I asked to speak to supervisor, he said there is no supervisor available.

It's so frustrating how customers have to be vigilant in paying our fees to DU on time, but get asked to visit the store three times to collect our deposit money for closing the account. It is like punishment for disconnecting the service.
