The letter slot is very narrow which severally limits the thickness of post to just normal letters, so no small packages in Jiffy bags etc. It loses a star for this inconvenience. This is a deliberate act by the Post Office to plate over the original larger slot using large Pop Rivets or button headed Allen bolts - weird ?
The box's orientation is a bit odd to, the slot and the door are angled towards a fence rather than the pavement, making access by the public and the collecting Postman a bit awkward.
Its not convenient for passing motorists either because the kerbside is protected by double yellow lines.
So to sum up, this box is more decorative than useful, not reaching its full potential.
