As a person who lived more than 15 years in Spain I can tell that this restaurant have really reached my expectations

The best Spanish restaurant in Dubai. New chef has changed quality of food. The purpose to go here was to eat iberian ham, but now to enjoy other dishes as well. The reason of 4 stars is draft beer quality. The taste of draft beer was bit sour which is already not flesh.

Paella paella oh paella it’s my fav! But not at El sur unfortunately.

It’s a lovely restaurant and all but it wouldn’t be a place I’d go back. The paella was a serving for two people therefore large in portion. I chose veg because of our half board. The bottom line it wasn’t impressive as I hoped.

The mussel entree was average; a little on the bland side. The staff who served us there was friendly at least.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is very good. The Spanish music make you get crazy. Food is good too. Thanks for attentive service staff especially Sanjeev.????

This hotel restaurant does a good job of bringing Spanish food to Dubai with a sophisticated higher end feel in the dimly lit dining room and bar. Prices are accordingly hotel-restaurant priced (i.e. not cheap) for what you get but they do a good enough job of replicating classic Spanish dishes that are generally done well with plenty of flavour in the stocks and sauces. There's plenty of dishes you would find at a tapas or paella restaurant in Spain and they do a great job at presenting these with an upmarket feel. You can order the smaller tapas to share, larger mains, and there's also some familiar desserts.

You can sit indoors at either the dining tables or in the bar area with bar stools and tables, as well as outdoor terrace seating during the cooler months. Service is ok but a bit average for this kind of establishment, and there's valet parking available through the hotel.

Food and service are very good, the Sunday brunch is great! Live music and a great time.
Only downfall is potentially the AC, not sure if that is the norm or just that day, but it was very warm in the restaurant.

We went for brunch to celebrate my friend's birthday. the portions were large. The restaurant was quite full and there was live music which added value. the quality of the food is good . Once they brought her the cake, the singer approached the table to sing her happy birthday. very nice detail!

Very good service. The waiters are very friendly and helpful! The ladies at the desk also good, more smiling helps though ladies!
The food is good, many items are fried because of the tapas. Main courses tastefull. Design of the restaurant could have been better. Outside seating avialable, there are heaters.. the side dish goat cheese with brown sugar and sweet potatoes is amazing
