It’s been more than a week since the ATM had been out of service and ENBD isn’t taking any swift action to fix it. This is the only ATM around in the Marina Towers neighborhood which resides thousands of people and ENBD customers in each of the high rise buildings. ENBD should take seriously the frustration, comments and ratings of their customers

3rd time in a row coming here and see this. Moreover ENBD has 1 deposit machine in entire Marina and JBR area half of there withdrawals machines don’t work. If I were an ENBD employee or manager I wouldn’t tell anyone as everyone would understand how useless I am

I am here to write a review on Mr. Farook, your private banker in this branch.

Please consider this review and if Mr. Farook read this, please give me a call asap. I am willing to review this opinion as soon I am treated like a human being and not as a number.

Here my experience:

Mr Farook treated me VERY BADLY, even if I was a customer since 2018.

I am a wealthy entrepreneur (and sue to this treatment I am not using NBD anymore for my banking in UAE, moving my funds AWAY ASAP) and I always trusted Emirates NBD as one of the best bank in UAE.

This until I had the experience below:

Sadly, they employ people like mr. Farook that treat customers like numbers.

NBD had a technical issue in the website so I could not pay the credit card on time due to the disappeareance of the option in my online banking.

How can you trust a bank that have glitches in their sites and do not let you pay cards and charges you for it?

Due to this, I decided to SHUT DOWN this card and get my 24000 aed deposit back.

With this intention, I approached this branch in February 2023.

Is there where I met mr Farook for the first time.

There started my agony in dealing with this issue.

First, Mr. Farook let me come back and perform some burocratic steps that he could have helped me do but he did not.

Then Mr Farook after several attempt finally made the closure but the DEPOSIT of 24000 aed never came back.

I never got back my money and Mr. Farook do not answer the phone nor provide answer in whatsapp.

He read and dont reply.

If this is the treatment wealthy individuals get in NBD, I strongly suggest to AVOID AT ALL COST Mr. Farook and this bank.

As of now, May 2023, I have no trace of my money back and an issue with credit bureau that they DID NOT HELP ME FIX, even if it was their fault.

very poor. whats the porpose of your company puting a deposit and withdrawing machine it in here., if its not working. i've been checking it for 1 week now but still nonody is fixing it!!!

The atm is out of service for at least a week, no maintainace. 21/12/22

Go round and round covering the same information requests with different colleagues and getting no where.

No point getting an ENBD credit card because it is a nightmare to close, and in my case where I have a credit owed to me I have sent 6 emails and made countless phone calls. It has been just under 1 month of following up so far. Many broken promises from staff, missed timelines.

ENBD used to be a great bank around 2010-15 but in recent years has really gone down hill. Long wait times in the branches and on the phone, staff unaware of the correct procedures and processes and so on.

Nice alternatives are HSBC especially with its global view option for expats, RAK bank with their convenient locations and nice product rates.
