What is the management doing here? 6 pm on a Saturday and only 1 till opened out of 11!???? Plenty of staff around the self service tills whilst people with trolleys are queueing up to the one till with a cashier. Just ridiculous! If Asda want to become Amazon, at least make it work!

Excellent well laid out store. And very helpful staff. A man with stubble and long hair tied back was working stocking freezers in the frozen department went out of his way the other week on a Monday night to help me find the vegetables and desert I was looking for. Very accommodating and couldn’t do enough to help. Great staff attitude.

It's been a long time since going to Asda and it will be even longer now

Unless you are going to provide an employee discount for customers using the self checkouts then whilst your store is open keep a minimum of 1 til open, I don't care how late it gets.

I don't like self checkouts.

Always have job finding items. Always have to queue to get thru checkouts. Car park manic because it is also a bus station!! Prices go up every week!!

The toilets were good, because the disabled toilet is separate from the baby changing area. The store has a checkout specifically designed for when users. The stock is always so low and my reason for 4 stars. Great deals at a great price, but the replenishment is bad as over a year and I have only managed to receive all my items three times.

Once this supermarket was much cheaper than the other like Tesco and Sainsbury. Now they are as expensive as Waitrose. Or is this only here in Southend?

The wife used online delivery only to be informed that some goods were unavailable. Chicken fillets, Yorkshire Puddings, Mixed Vegetables. As this had happened before I decided to go to Asda out of curiosity to see if they were indeed unavailable. Surprisingly I managed to pick up the goods on shelves which were plentiful. What's the point in using the online delivery service when you end up doing your own shopping anyway . I've come to the conclusions that 1. The shelves weren't stacked at time of staff was doing the shopping. 2. A new member of staff. 3. Couldn't be bothered to search for said items. You might think that I'm lazy and could of done it myself but I have no vehicle so instead of using Taxis to save on money I use online shopping service. I also like to add that majority of the food goes out of date within two to three days. Again can't be bothered to check, which I can only assume is trying to offload or bad training of staff. ASDA, you've let yourself down again as this hasn't been the first time this has happened. BTW. How is beansprouts similar to shredded onion? and how is mince meat a substitute for packed meat balls?
