I recently had a highly disappointing experience with EZHOMES Real Estate and feel compelled to share my negative review. I initially worked with Sami, one of their agents, in search of an apartment. At first, everything seemed to be going smoothly, but my opinion quickly changed as the situation unfolded.
The problems started when it was time to sign the contract. Without any prior mention, Sami informed me of an additional fee of AED 1050, claiming it was an admin fee. This lack of transparency was concerning, as he had never mentioned it during our previous discussions. To my surprise, when Sami came to collect the payments for the landlord, he insisted that I pay the AED 1050 in cash. This demand was completely unacceptable and raised serious red flags.
Refusing to pay cash, I wrote a cheque under the landlord's name instead. Being an agent myself, I had a gut feeling that something was amiss. I decided to contact the landlord directly and discovered that the AED 1050 fee was, in fact, charged by Sami and not intended for me. It became apparent that he was attempting to scam me out of that additional amount. Thankfully, I caught onto his deceit before he could acquire my cheque.
I want to emphasize the importance of never dealing with an agent who introduces hidden fees. Furthermore, it is crucial to never make cash payments under such circumstances. What frustrated me the most was the fact that I had already paid Sami the AED 4200 commission, which he did not deserve in the slightest.
When I followed up with the landlord to collect my keys after they had deposited the cheques, I discovered that Sami had been intentionally delaying the process, insisting on receiving the money. Frustrated by this unprofessional behavior, I had to escalate the matter to Sami's manager, Rishavh. Thankfully, Rishavh took swift action, paid the landlord, and expedited the processing of my application. I promptly visited the police station to file a comprehensive report, providing them with a copy of Sami's ID.
I urge everyone to exercise caution when dealing with agents like Sami and to avoid any association with EZHOMES Real Estate. Their lack of transparency, hidden fees, and unprofessional conduct are major concerns that should not be taken lightly.

I am writing this review to share my deeply unpleasant experience with EZHOMES REAL ESTATE. Initially, my brother and I were excited about dealing with them and specifically with their agent, Sami, after finding a listing online. Unfortunately, what began as a seemingly smooth process quickly turned into a nightmare.
On the day my brother was ready to provide the necessary cheques and pay Sami his commission, we were blindsided by an unexpected demand for an additional 1050 AED. To make matters worse, Sami insisted that this amount be paid in cash, claiming it was an admin fee. This was a clear attempt to scam us, as he had never mentioned this fee before.
Suspecting foul play, we immediately contacted the landlord to clarify the situation. To our surprise, the 1050 AED was supposed to be paid by Sami himself, not by us. It became evident that Sami was trying to deceive us into paying for his own expenses.
Despite our refusal to comply with his cash payment request, Sami continued to delay the process with the landlord, persistently insisting on receiving the 1050 AED. Fed up with his unprofessional behavior, my brother decided to take action and filed a report with the police.
Upon contacting Sami's manager, Rishavh, we discovered that he was completely unaware of the situation. Thankfully, Rishavh took immediate action, intervening with the landlord and personally paying the 1050 AED owed. It was truly disheartening to realize that we had already paid Sami his commission of 4200 AED, a sum he did not deserve in the slightest.
I strongly advise everyone to exercise caution when dealing with EZHOMES REAL ESTATE. Their agents, like Sami, engage in scams and dishonest practices. Never agree to pay in cash and always request proper documentation to ensure transparency and accountability.
This experience has left a bitter taste in our mouths, and we hope that by sharing our story, we can prevent others from falling victim to similar unscrupulous behavior.
